i've started a playthrough of this game like 2 or 3 times over the years but never made it more than a little over halfway through. i did find the game extremely fun though, and while on my latest playthrough i didn't have as much fun as i did on my previous incomplete ones, this is still imo one of the best games naughty dog has made (of the ones i played) and one i would recommend to people interested in the "combat racing" concept even if they don't care for/about jak and daxter

alright i'm done waiting for someone to post so my posts don't get fused again, anyways yeah i beat this next one within a few hours of jak x i'm pretty sure

criminally overlooked, this little sound novel felt a lot like a japanese eroge or a regular work of literature, what with it's philosophical aspects and precarious romance. but it still utilizes the medium of visual novels like no book could. it does so for example to create a sense of anticipation and dread with it's interludes in a way that you couldn't pull off in a book. another way it does so is by using the mundane background of a small real-life kitchen and a casual, low-energy backing track to ground an otherwise complex and difficult interaction. i enjoyed the bits of horror mixed in too. i found the reading pretty difficult though.

overall i think i would recommend this vn to pretty much anyone who isn't lesbophobic, it deserves more recognition in any case.

The lineup so far is:

Turbo Overkill
Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland
Castlevania 4 (Replayed)
Castlevania: Bloodlines
SuperHot Mind Control Delete
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon
Uncharted 3
Resident Evil 2 Remake (Claire and Leon runs)
Elden Ring
Celeste (Replayed)
Resident Evil 3 Remake
Neon White
Super Metroid (Replayed)
Ikaruga
Mario Advance 4: Mario 3
Pizza Tower
Tomb Raider (dropped)

I'm currently working on 100% for Pizza Tower and I'm playing Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. I also played Hades 2, Vampire Survivors, and Binding of Isaac this year, but those aren't exactly finishable since they're roguelikes. Still looking around this Steam sale to see what else I should grab, lol

This one, in June. I've enjoyed it, I got the good and true ending but I haven't beaten extra monsters / post-game bosses in the dungeons.

Reading the comment above, I also remembered I finished "Mario Luigi Superstar Saga" on 3ds, my first Mario/Luigi RPG. Very nice.

Finished Trails in the sky 1st (the og one) and trails in the sky SC for the moment !
I'm currently playing Atelier Sophie and Trails in the sky TC.

For now:

FF I
Resident Evil 2 (Remake)
Resident Evil 3 (Remake)
No More Heroes
Fear and Hunter 1

and the one I liked the most gotta be re2, I would love to give the ogs a try also!

Sonic Advance 3. It has been brought to my attention that I forgot to add this.

The best of the Advance games by far. The later levels are annoying with their bottomless pits and I hate time limits on levels.

SD Gundam Gaiden Knight Gundam Monogatari The Great Prophecy. Bit of a step down compared to the NES games imo. It was fun, but it really started to overstay its welcome near the end of the playthrough.

I played Ace Combat 7 and Zero and they both completely blew me away! I've played a few similar games like rogue squadron/freelancer/skygunner before but the pace, atmosphere, and skill ceiling of ace combat really captured me. I can't believe I've never played anything from this series before! Now I'm working through AC4 now and it completely holds up.

Might have to come back later with my list.

Currently finished Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Pacing was all over the place, Essex & Hamptunscire are ass.

Got this mofo tho, so all's forgiven (jk).

- The Witness (2nd replay)
- Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors (3rd replay)
- Spyro 1 Reignited (2nd replay)
- Spyro 2 Reignited
- Spyro 3 Reignited (2nd replay)
- Uncharted Lost Legacy (2nd replay)
- Deltarune Chapter 5
- Funni Racoon Game
- Far Cry 5
- Titanfall 2 (2nd replay)

Not many games. Due to lack of time, I'm basically played fighting games. Those are good to play a little and don't waste too much time.

So basically I've finished this year Versus Series of Capcom Fighting Games. :loldog

Haven't had much time to crank through games this year. But in the first half I finished Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. And I'm currently working through a play of Mina the Hollower on steam deck 🐁 it's perfect for long plane flights.

Both games are awesome!

I just finished the entire Ninja Gaiden master collection. I'm feeling pretty good about myself right about now.
