New year, new thread! This time everyone gets the full-year track everything. I will post the ranking from the 2024 thread here so it stays up all year. I know it's New Year's in other parts of the world, but here in the US it's still the 31st. With that said here are the rules and history behind why I started this thread.

With this being a new forum, the first thing that came to mind was E-mpire and Game Revolution for YEARS would do a traditional "Games you Finished This Year" thread as a competition. Just something fun. You keep the list kind of short and sweet. Post the title and platform. You can add "Hours to Finish" if you want or a short summary of a review that's a few lines. This was also something for people to browse through for games to play. Discussions are allowed too! It's not super strict with "lists only" or anything.

On December 31st (would be the local time of myself since I created the thread) at 11:59 (or as close as I can get it), I would tally up and rank the winners. There's no prize! It's just a fun thing to do and is something regular you can always post to the forum. I would then start next year's thread. If your list gets too long, you can link to posts such as Games 1-20 with a link, or a spoiler, etc. Hopefully, it catches on, and if everyone thinks it's a dumb idea, the mods can delete this thread, lol.

I started this in 2005, and it was such a fun tradition that I kept a Google Doc long after those forums died just for myself. I will post mine for the year so far. Obviously, not everyone keeps track of what they completed, so going back 9 months may not be super accurate, but that's okay! This also pushed me to finish games I normally wouldn't and has worked to this day (by keeping track).

Rules:
1. You must have made it to the credits or the game's equivalent. For games that have an "endless mode," you just need to beat the story. For fighting games, you can get through a single character's story mode to count, for example. Online games like Fortnite wouldn't count or any "endless" game with no real ending.
2. The list must be organized in some way to make counting easier and must be numbered.
4. No limits on systems, age, or genre. Even if you beat a Tiger Electronics game, it counts!
5. Have fun!

Winners for 2024:

1. stealthRUSH - 82

2. BinaryMessiah - 69

Well, the 25 just started, so I haven't finished any games yet, but I hope to finish Rayman 2.

Sleeping dogs
Tomb raider (2013)
Silent hill origins
The park (worst game I ever play)
Some random gl visual novels
That's all I remember :ı

OP is up with winners from 2024 and stuff. I haven't beaten anything yet either. My goal is to finish larger games this year rather than a bunch of short 2-6 hour games.

Almost done with Assassins creed 1 i'll play the franchise till Rogue or Unity. But now is time to configure the vita ?️

Yousef get a vita it's time for Bullet Girls Phantasia coop ?️?
Way ahead of ya ;)
I hop back and forth between my multiple handhelds. I have a real NDS, psp and vita. All modded! I deliberately didn’t bother getting a real GBA thought cuz I’m not that enthusiastic about the hardware itself plus the games are basic enough that playing them on my phone doesn’t deter too much from the experience. I’m mainly doing a lot of home console gaming these days though. I’ve a modded ps1 mini, a modded ps2 and a steam deck for emulating other stuff I don’t wanna buy a console for

So far in 2025 I finished:

Pikmin 3 Deluxe (Switch) - 8,5/10
Mappy-Land
(NES emulator on Nintendo Switch) - 6/10

So far I have finished
-Killer Instinct (with 5 different characters) - Arcade1up Cabinet
-Arizona Sunshine - PSVR
-Arizona Sunshine Remake - PSVR2 (such a better version)
-Life is Strange: Double Exposure - Xbox Series X

My first and only game this year is Pokemon ultra sun.
7 gen have a beautiful region and very charismatic, overall i feel better this one than 8 or 9 gen. I think i enjoy more older generations.

I have to finish the endless Persona 5 royal yet
and the amazing Yakuza 0.

Isn't this too early tho? Well whatever, so far right now this is mine:
Gundam Breaker 4
Unit 13
Resistance Burning Skies

Does Wrestling Empire counts? Technically you can start a new career then retire right away.

It's to keep a running list throughout the year so I can tally it all up next January.

For me, I've only finished one game so far. Bad start.

1. Nobody Wants to Die (PC) - Score: 8/10
