I beat Kirby's Avalanche because I was in the mood for plain ol' Puyo Puyo. It's such a good head-empty game and the soundtrack is fire.

Yeah I like it a bit more than mean bean machine. Old Puyo is fun to replay. AI sometimes can’t even handle a basic 3 chain which is funny. I like how in Kirby’s avalanche, Kirby talks smack.

That’s what I’m trying to find out as well. It’s on my wishlist, looks right up my alley, I really like the artstyle and really curious about it.

After multiple crashes, bad visual artifacts, and funny bugs I finished Oblivion again (Remastered Edition) on my Series S. Now all that's left is to do the Shivering Isles.

-Pokemon Uranium (Living Dex project)
-Pokemon Emerald Doubles Edition (Pokemon Emerald but every trainer battle is a double battle and also the game is harder)
-Kirby Triple Deluxe (main story is almost done, after that im going to do dededetour but not the arenas)
-Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe (currently working on EX mode and after that is just true arena)

I believe the first game i finished this year was xenoblade 3 (not its dlc yet tho, gonna do that after x), which i absolutely adored. I don't mind the on the nose themes because the gameplay, peripheral content, characters and music were sewn together so well in my opinion. the gripes i do have with this game are very minor, which I can't say for every xenoblade game (can you guess which one I'm thinking of? lol).

I also finished super metroid and fusion for the first time a couple months ago

very cute thread idea
although the inclusion of fighting games makes it feel as if i am going to be cheating strongly as i play a lot of fighting games, and their narrative and character specific story modes are very short
i noticed the replaying of games was not mentioned in the initial post
would replaying a game from years past add to the count?
