I think I was already invested in the vibe the game had set and the fact I was going on an entirely new adventure turned me off? Not sure. Glad I'm not the only one though. Love the gameplay and how Archetypes effectively serve like a class system. I'm playing on hard mode and it's brutal (not a fan of the dearth of MP healing items) but I love that it forces you to think about team composition in a way that's more like SMT than Persona.

Played some WoW and wrapped up a bunch of storylines I didn’t finish last expansion. I really loved Dragonflight. If it had the Delve feature it would 100% be my favorite expansion.

Then I played more Dragon Quest 8. Mostly just grinded alchemy stuff and explored so that I could get Yangus an axe that skipped a whole tier of weapon which always feels really good.

Its my gaming and music night on a friday and ive finally got some downtime after being busy yesterday. Picked up some ps3 games in the game store and im expecting something to be put through the letterbox today. Had a new transparent x box controller delivered too. Im winning an ebay bid for a copy of die hard trilogy so ill know saturday if ive won that.

Replaying Secret of Mana, just got to the shroom village

Played a bunch of Super Fantasy Zone on my Pocket Go. Actually got reasonably far (level 3), though I did save state a bit, though mainly before boss battles.

I feel like the Pumpkin boss (even in the NES port) has the worst hit scan attacks. But you can cheese him/her fairly well with bombs, so they're not too much of an issue. Same with the cannon boss in stage two. Got guided bombs and that took care of the turrets fairly quickly
