just finished shenmue 2 and legend of legaia, currently im playing that suikoden 2 the oath romhack version, was also trying suikoden 5 but somehow i just cant get to it

I really shouldn't be doing this but I'm playing two JRPG's at once: Nier Replicant (still) and Drakengard.

Currently going through Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles (PS3). Having a blast so far even if my fingers end up hurting after a session.

Been playing Yugioh Master Duel.

This game is fun, they should make Yugioh a real thing.

1. Witcher 3 - almost finished after playing both the 1st and 2nd witcher games
2. Final Fantasy Tactics PSX - my main emulator/retro game right now
3. Deep Rock Galactic - i don't play this as often, but i'll still include it, bcuz when i do play it i enjoy it alot
4. Animal Crossing Wild Worlds - nice game, i turn it on for like 30 mins, then go do something else

Today I played and beat Trip World DX. Here is a gif I made from it (I made more but it says they are too large to upload here):

After watching a few bits of gameplay from two streamers playing Super Mario Sunshine I thought it can’t be that difficult, but turns out it is. Woop!
Playing on a Wii with a original controller, I noticed that the game really wants you to slow down and be mindful of your next move. Kinda like classic Tomb Raider.

Also felt like replaying Sands of Time again, on the Wii. Using a cheap HDMI adapter connected to a 13" OLED display results in a soft composite\VHS style image but regardless of that the art direction in this game still makes it look amazing. The area where you first get the dagger and there’s that endless expanse opposite the statue still gives me the shivers.

just played an FPS called "Fashion Police Squad" - you don't actually kill anyone , u have to find people dressed in dull clothes and shoot them with what i guess you could call a "fashion bullet" to make them look trendy again - a bit wacky but seems alright so far

Mega Man X2, i found the Mega Man formula pretty enjoyable so this is cool for me.

The Marathon reboot. It's definitely controversial but its nowhere near as bad as its made out to be. That said the game's main problem is that its an extraction shooter with influence from Tarkov, which I assume means colored loot rarity and seasonal vault/inventory resets.
It really would have been better if it was just a standard single player game like space S.T.A.L.K.E.R/Far Cry 2, or a linear and tightly well designed corridor shooter like Doom 3. Because they definitely put in effort to the world building and gunplay, its just a shame that its held hostage to a live service extraction shooter.

I remember how pumped I was, getting tingles at the end when Lan-Di was right there. Epic staredown. I was like "Can't wait to play the third and final game in like a few years!". Then many years later Shenmue 3 actually happened. Suzuki's one damn chance to wrap it up. Not only did he not wrap it up, it sucked. Now it will probably never be wrapped up. Fuck.

After a couple weeks, I beat Tomb Raider 4 through 6 via the remasters (not first playthroughs). I hated the original versions but I admit the games are much better in the remasters, not just to look, but to play as well, even though none of them top the OG Trilogy IMO. Even AoD is playable, dare I say. Not great, just playable. ::lol Chronicles was a much better time as well now that it's bug free.

been playing a lot of gba games lately for some reason, finished megaman battle network and castlevania aria of sorrow and golden sun, trying to decide what's next tbh

gradius galaxies is pretty cool

I'm playing Prodigal on PC, which is a zelda-like with GBC aesthetic, but with a more than decent story, a romance system and much better game than I thought. Pleasently susprised with this one.

I've been going through Monster Hunter Frontier. Freedom Unite and Generations Ultimate are my favorite Monhun games, and I finally found some people to play Frontier with, so I went for it.
I'm doing dual progression on Rain and Renewal chipping away at either server. Currently swapping between Gunlance (it's the only game in the *entire* series where Gunlance is even remotely good in G-rank) and Light Bowgun (which is better than HBG for once).

There's something immediately charming about Dos's engine getting control updates and just enough QoL.

Man I really wanted to play frontier, but i tried and my little laptop can't handle it without lagging like hell, maybe when i upgrade my pc... Love espinas in rise tho that's about all I know on frontier.

Tried playing freedom unite once but the material grind was quite tedious... If I play again would need to watch some videos while playing or something to pass the time.

Yeah gunlance's shelling being fixed damage sucks, it's all right on low rank but on g-rank the lv 3 damage can't keep up with the other weapons on every game.

I recently watched the Super Mario Galaxy Movie! It was a little mid BUT it made me remember Star Fox! So I dusted off my 3DS and started replaying Star Fox 64 3D! ::heart

I used to be obsessed with Star Fox as a kid, so replaying it has been a fun ride! Especially since I never actually tried out the 3DS version. Now that I've defeated the hard route, I do feel like going back to the original and seeing how it compares!

Crimson Desert for PS5.

It’s a beautiful looking game and I’m enjoying it, the map is unbelievable, I’ve pumped many hours in to it and still have just a small portion of the map explored.

There aren’t many negatives but the few I have:

- controls can be terrible.
- you’re often left with little to no direction when it comes to figuring things out.

I am all for a challenge, I don’t want my hand held while I play but at the same time when you make me go somewhere and there is no indication of what to do….it becomes annoying to have to look it up and that also takes away from the game. For example, I was standing directly on an X so I knew I was where I was supposed to be yet there was absolutely nothing there but trees. I’m looking around and there’s no indication of what to do at all. I even started digging lmao I couldn’t see anything around.

I finally looked it up and even though the X is right where I’m standing, you actually have to run off a way to a mountain area nearby and there’s a giant tree walking around. You have absolutely no idea unless you look it up or just running around the area and eventually run in to the tree. If you follow the map, the X is just in the middle of a bunch of trees not even right where the big tree guy walks.

Pete's Peak Showdown.png

Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse, finished Pete's Peak, holy fuck Capcom really put themselves in every thing they made back then, also, tip about this boss fight, that condor carries and egg to the fight every time, but thing is, the hook you get in this level (basically turns mickey's gameplay into Captain Commando) can pretty much grab anything, yeah you know where im going with this, fucking awesome man.

Right now, Octopath 0, which I'm loving much more than 1 and 2. In my opinion, a better story and superb gameplay.
