Games with dating sim elements

Clannad and other games made by KEY might be what you’re looking for. There’s also Little Busters.
Never7 and Ever17 has dating elements.
I think Persona also has fleshed out dating mechanics. Danganronpa only has dating stuff after you beat the games.

LovePlus is basically the poster kid for in-depth dating sims.

Aren't those visual novels?
Because I never manage to finish a visual novels, I get tried of reading then start skipping dialogues until I stop playing entirely
I do prefer RPGs more actually, especially jrpgs, I really like the some of the characters design in jrpgs

Most of em are. LovePlus isn’t.

Visual novels are mainly dating sims, though I have seen some RPGs with a dating simulator can't remember the title though.

This is true. VNs eventually allow you to date the characters.

Ar Tonelico?
I also recommend this game, completed it this year and was one of my favorite; gameplay wise(turn based) there is no challenge, but the art, music, storytelling makes up for it. There is 3 heroines and the main thing besides advancing the story killing stuff in your way is to solve the heroines insecurities by "diving" into their psyches.

I'd also recommend Growlanser 1 but unfortunately is still only in japanese. So I'll recommend the next best in the series Growlanser IV(no need to play previous games), is a tactical rpg, you have, IIRC, like 5 main heroines + 2 or 3 sub heroines, has a lot of endings. You have some rest time between missions that you use to know your companions and do some sub quests in order to know them and advances towards their respective endings.

Ah I see
Well thank you very much
I will try to see if there is one that I might like

The only one that comes to mind is Riviera for the GBA and PSP.
Yeah I played that
It's pretty fun

I almost forgot, another game that I'd recommend is Shining Blade, another tactical rpg although Visual Novel aspect is strong, there is like 5 heroines and the thing is the same a with Growlanser, rest time between missions lets you increase bonds with companions + a quest sometimes. It's a fun game.

Try Thousand Arms on the ps1.
I played that
But I couldn't finish it because my save file got corrupted near the end and I gave up
But I guess it's time now to retry
Thank you

Oh yeah I remember that I played that a bit
I didn't like that much the gameplay and the story was a bit confusing sometimes but still pretty fun
Thank you

Ar Tonelico?
Yeah I want to play that but it's unfortunate that it's on the PS2, I don't have a PS2
For now at least, maybe in the future I will try that
Thank you very much

Actually, grownlaser IV was the last game I played
I liked it very much
That's why I want more games like that
Does grownlaser 1 have a English fan translation?
Thank you for the recommendation tho

Yes, Shining Blade had a weird gameplay, was my first time playing something with limited movement on the field. But I pushed through and it was fun, not to mention the music, like with Ar Tonelico music here is magic and there is a lot of songs.

It has, in the gamefaq website there is a translation of the entire game plus guide. Since I wanted to play the game so bad I played with a notepad with the translation on a side window , bothersome but worth it; there must be better methods today maybe, of that Im not sure.

In regards of Ar Tonelico being for PS2, can't you emulate it in a PC or notebook?

Yeah, the songs where pretty good

And for the PS2, I forgot you can emulate but I broke my PC recently so I can't emulate, once it's repaired I will try
Thank you

This is the reason I never touched the Harvest Moon series, so there's that.
The harvest moon serie is good, I just have a problem with the characters design, too much child like but I guess the game target audience is children so that makes sense
Still thank you

So RPG games with dating sim elements, right? There are timeless classics for Windows, mostly fan translated, still very popular today. Beloved Kingdom (by Giga), Castle Fantasia Renewal, Men at Work 2, Eternal Aselia, Tears to Tiara, Rance VI, Koihime Musou, Eiyu Senki, Kamidori, Sengoku Rance and many more. Warning: they are aimed at a mature audience, so they contain some erotic scenes here and there, but this does not detract from the beauty of the plots, characters and gameplay.
It would be a shame to lose them due to childish, unfounded prudery and fears.
Anyway, I don't think you'll be scared by some "(© )( ©)", right? ?
