Well, prequel, anyways.

It's a prequel, but kinda a whole different beast from Tail Concerto and Solatorobo being a whole separate trilogy and all.

They're interesting games but they don't quite scratch the same itch as the other two games in the little tail "series?"(is that the right word?).

This game was the maniac version of Mario Party and I always had a blast playing it with my siblings back in the day, getting absolutely furious at the CPU players literally cheating. It also has killer art design.

I'm really sad Vanquish is one and done, it was soooooo good from a gameplay perspective. Asura's Wrath was an overall great experience and I miss 2D ninja stealth games as a whole.

To be fair, at least Mark of the Ninja and Asura's Wrath have complete endings. The charging for the true ending dlc still sucks though for AW.

Shadows of the Damned never got a sequel, unless you played Travis Strikes Again. It reveals what happened to Garcia, Paula, and Johnson after the end of the game. Though it would have been nice to play as two one more time in an actual mainline game. What happened in TSA is canon.

Man Burnout 3 was such a fantastic game, I never liked Paradise and of course thats the one that get's ports.

No One Lives Forever and Shadow Hearts will both probably never get new sequels or even rereleases for the same reason: They're both trapped in IP-rights hell, and while they were successful enough to have multiple games they're probably not big enough names to justify the legal expenses involved in getting the rights sorted out.

Another one that's never getting a sequel is Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. It was intended to, but the first one sold poorly (it came out only a few months before Half-Life) and a planned expansion got canned. Monolith (the F.E.A.R. people, not the Xenoblade Chronicles people) dropped a few Easter eggs based on it in other games, but they never made a sequel, and now that Warners shut them down, they never will. (Don't expect a Blood III, either)
