Games that should exist, yet don't?

Any "non hardcore" game that lets you fully customize your character.

I remember seeing the customization from BF4 and say to my brother" We are so close to just create our own soldiers!" (like on ArmA)...

But skins are a better business alternative, so now we are here.

A Devil May Cry RPG or DMC-like RPG where you create your own demon-hunter character.
I imagine it would be structured a bit like Monster Hunter game: hunt demons to get rewards or drops to upgrade your gear to hunt stronger demons. Being DMC, it would have the stylish, satisfying and varied combat those games have and the moves you'd learn would depend on your weapons or maybe the game could have classes that would approach the styles of existing characters in the series or have its own entirely original movesets.

even tough I haven't play those games I always thought the ultima and wizardry series would get more sequels, but the sudden rise in popularity of final fantasy 7 and other jrpgs kinda ruined that possibility, both series fell into obscurity
Actually Wizardry gained a real following...in japan though. Several other developers added more Wizardry games over the years...sadly they didn't come over seas, nor did they get a turn on english features that several snes and psx ports gotten.

Man I love the Wizardry series, not to mention playing several various clones of the genre.

a action adventure RPG game set in the Caribbean, traveling to Islands from Spain, England, France and the Netherlands. With an art style that is either manga style or western

Allow me to introduce you to "The Legend of Pirates Online".
And the website.

Though you will have quite some downtime if you try to sail all the way to Spain. 1775259829436.png

Unless you mean the Mediterranean Sea.
In which case I would have suggested "Uncharted Waters Online," but I think it is dead now.1775259948638.png

Well i'll be damned it's real, i was more reffering to traveling to the colonies of Spain, England, France and the Netherlands.
Spain= Cuba, Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Puerto Rico
England= Jamaica, Bahamas, Trinidad and Barbados
France= Saint Domingue (Haiti) Martinique and Guadalope
Netherlands= Aruba, Curazao and Bonaire

My mistake, I misinterpreted your original post as being the islands off the coast of the specified countries.

Red Alert 4

We are in the troubled state of eternal affairs due to the lack of a 4th Red Alert game

Tibereum Twilight

Westwood studios had an entirely different vision for the 4th CNC game , this vision of theirs SHOULD exist but sadly Westwood studios was shutdown by EA

A moment of silence to one of the best and most influential video game developers the original creators of RTS games as we know it! ::bigboss::sadkirby

Half Life 3

Please Valve put the entire fanbase worries at rest

Final Fantasy 6 Remake

Take FF6 make it 3d and bam a masterpiece in a new shape and modern looks better than ever! (while keeping the same artstyle as much as possible)

Diablo 3

In blizzard north vision NOT those assholes at blizzard who hardly know a thing about DIABLO

A 3D fighting game with play mechanics like SF or KOF where we can also use the environment like Power Stone.
"I just threw a Power Wave and he stepped out of the way. Eat a chair!"

After Power Stone came and went, I'd thought someone would have done it by now.

ogre battle's real time strategy and tactics ogre's tun-based battle stitched together.

I was going to say a virtual pet game that's just the chao garden from Sonic Adventure 2, but then I remembered that Bobo Bay is pretty much that.

I wish Potion Permit would get a sequel.

People Can Fly teased Bulletstorm 2 with a non-ending in Bulletstorm, and it never happened! 😡

Sucks that never happened. Bulletstorm is still one of the best cover shooters to come out 7th generation and put it right behind Vanquish.

Crytek announced Crysis 4, but nothing has come up yet since 2022. Honestly, if it's a reboot/reimagining I rather have that, as the third game has a good conclusion and ties up any loose ends.

I've always wanted a sandbox style Mass Effect side story game where you are given a spaceship and have to go out and exploring planets and given a change recruit a crew of NPCs for questing and vaguely assisting in Shepard's mission.

Roverandom works too well as a video game. Its story moves like a sequence of handcrafted levels: the beach as your tutorial hub, the Moon as the midgame new physics zone, and the Deep Sea as the atmospheric dungeon crawl. Rover's shifting forms feel like ability sets you unlock per biome. Okami reminded me so much of Roverandom; same sense of moving through self contained realms that feel like levels instead of locations.

SimAnt but for other animals (like bees).

I understand that it probably wasn't the money-maker Maxis had wanted, but it still feels like a missed opportunity to start a whole franchise over.

An RGG Like a Dragon game set in Cowboy Bebop. It worked for Fist of the North Star, it would work for this. I would want it done like Lost Paradise was done, too. Rather than a direct 1:1 copy of the anime's events, have the plots of the episodes present, but remixed to serve within a new, overarching narrative.

I would have it star Spike as the playable character, and put Jet in as a surprise, high rank opponent in the inevitable underground fight pit.

I wouldn't care for it, but a GTA/Saints Row crime sandbox game that is pretty much Black Lagoon in video game form. Doesn't have to follow the anime/manga exactly, and has its own unique story, but uses most of the same characters, while having few oc characters exclusive to the game.
