Even though I resented it as a kid, I have come to appreciate my "outsider's" perspective on gaming.
My family didn't really believe in letting us run wild with videogames, so we were limited to whatever Dad installed on his work computer, along with his willingness to let us play for an hour or so every night.
But because I didn't know much about gaming, I began picking up patterns left and right whenever I was over at friends' houses and got to play their consoles.
Man, kids who didn't agree on anything had the same games to an absurd degree.
I must have seen fifteen copies of International Super Star Soccer Deluxe for the MegaDrive in my time.
Jet Grind Radio was on every shelf that also held a Dreamcast.
Crash Bandicoot 2 was synonymous with the PS1, etc.
What other (non packed-in) titles can you think of?
