I just remembered this one - a weird platformer I never could figure out how to progress but I remember this being one of those rentals at blockbuster video that I got because everything else was checked out

Apparently this was the mascot for the 1996 summer olympics in Atlanta

I recommend Boogerman quite often. Yeah, the gross-out humor that was so prevalent in the 90's hasn't made it age well, but it's still a fun and very solid platformer

I think AVGN compared Izzy to a bi-pedal sperm at one point. But yeah, funnily enough, I also rented it back in the day

This is a really good pick. I've only ever emulated it, but I can remember never making it very far in it either.
Graphically it's nice, though.

Another whacky platformer I don't hear much about is

I owned this game back in the day, but just like with Izzy's quest, I never managed to progress very far in it.

Seems to be my curse with a lot of platformers I'm afraid.
