The Genesis/Mega-Drive was a huge system with loads of games. It's inevitable that some of them fade into the background of people's memories as the years pass on.

I'd like to see some of your guy's picks for games that have practically faded into complete obscurity, more or less games that are almost never mentioned or seen.

My pick would probably have to go to this one personally.

The Ooze, it came out very late in the Genesis life in 1995 made by the same team that made Comix Zone. You play as this pile of green ooze monster with a top overview that's weird and unique. The game has no hud, cause the Ooze slime character you control is the hud.

Anything you can't find a youtube video of is the perfect example.

the sad truth is that the majority of old games have been forgotten. Feels like there's an endless well of old stuff to re-discover.
Anyway my pick for a Gen/MD game is Pyramid Magic, one of the games released on the Sega Game Toshokan service. However it did get a physical release as part of a compilation on the Mega CD called "Game no Kanzume Vol .1". It's a platform puzzle game where you move blocks around, grab the stage's treasure and then reach the exit.

Plenty of people still know or remember Sonic 1. Considering its in compilation ports all of the time.

No remembers the Genesis ports of Crude Buster, aka Two Crude Dudes, nor Growl. Both which are great and decent ports respectively.

This is going to sound crazy, but I remember playing a shitty reskin of this game on miniclip back in the day. Seeing that screen in particular made me recall it....
