Oop its up again

So I replayed Biohazard 5 recently, and you know what? I was too harsh on it in middle school

Sure its no horror game, and the reduced violence is lame
But as a side game to 4? A new adventure with its super combat system? It's fun stuff!
It still plays eons better than most big budget games now, especially once you go into the settings and make it control like 4
And now, unlike when it came out, Im totally not starving for horror games

The setting was Superb, the dingy dirty Definetly Stinky african town, the cool industrial areas in the desert, the colors the architecture the whole Vibe yknow
And then the really cool villages where you fight the infected tribes and the crocs

So so cool

Then shortly after Bio5 there was far cry 2, same story, and then serious sam 3
Which yes its a shit SS game (woah that sounded wrong), but I dig the moroccan setting as Ive been there

And then this strange coincidence never happened again

Can you fellas think of any other examples? Only one rule

NO. EGYPT.
Resident evil 5 , puncing omari back to savvanee as crish redfield, and shoot ton of guns and rage quit because of teammate aı

Sim Safari.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 and 2013.

Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan (2016) is based on African mythology, more recently there was also Tales of Kenzera: ZAU (2024).

My thoughts on Resident Evil 5 exactly. As a sequel to Resident Evil 4 (and as an RE game in general), it's a massive disappointment, a co-op actionised sell-out out to ride the hype of Gears of War and a genuinely flawed experience that is easily one of the franchise's lowlights. But as a game, I have to admit (especially after being recalibrated by Resident Evil 6, which is somehow what 5 could've been in the wrong hands) it's actually pretty entertaining piece of interactive carnage, one that I think can only get better in co-op.

Compare it to 3rd person shooters nowdays, to the remakes and all the homogenized shit that controls just like the last of us; Bio5 still has 4's wonderful combat system and controls and a great setting
It's not a worthy follow up to one of the best action games ever but it's still a good time

For some reason the ps3 had so many of those cabela games lol
I dont like shooting regular animals! I wanna shoot action movie sterotypes and monsters!

Rally de Africa, it's a fun arcade racing game for the PS1 I would recommend if you like Ridge Racer or Sega rally

Also apperently all Halo games missions set on Earth Happen in Africa

Dude. No. The Resident Evil Remakes (2 and 4, not 3) trounce the shit out of 5 any day of the week. 5 is more akin to Resident Evil Zero where it's crippled by several factors (even moreso than Zero) but it still ends up fun despite its misguided nature. Sorry, but you have your opinion, and I have mine.

The second map in MGSV is in Africa (called the Angola-Zaire Border Region, Zaire is an old name for Congo). I liked that area because it reminded me more of MGS3.

You get to rally around Africa in the older games based on the Dakar rally, my favorites being the PS2 titles: Paris-Dakar Rally and Dakar 2: The World's Ultimate Rally

There is the the Lion Dos game. Basically a being a lion "simulator" with a tint of edutainment software.

I hate those tlou style games, the controls and combat system and graphical style and pacing...
While I love 4s combat
I also really like Zero so we're on opposite sides!

I mightve tried that one...
By codemaster? Or just similar..

I didn’t get to it yet, but I think Venetica has an Africa section, not the whole game though.

Codemasters have developed the newer, current-gen Dakar games which are set in Saudi Arabia where the rally takes place in current day. The rally used to go through Africa just as it does in the PS2 games which were made by Acclaim
