Oop its up again

So I replayed Biohazard 5 recently, and you know what? I was too harsh on it in middle school

Sure its no horror game, and the reduced violence is lame
But as a side game to 4? A new adventure with its super combat system? It's fun stuff!
It still plays eons better than most big budget games now, especially once you go into the settings and make it control like 4
And now, unlike when it came out, Im totally not starving for horror games

The setting was Superb, the dingy dirty Definetly Stinky african town, the cool industrial areas in the desert, the colors the architecture the whole Vibe yknow
And then the really cool villages where you fight the infected tribes and the crocs

So so cool

Then shortly after Bio5 there was far cry 2, same story, and then serious sam 3
Which yes its a shit SS game (woah that sounded wrong), but I dig the moroccan setting as Ive been there

And then this strange coincidence never happened again


Can you fellas think of any other examples? Only one rule

The British campaign covers it , its a great one too (MCGREGOR!!!!)

Also sudden strike forever covers north africa in the British campaign too its about protecting docks from germans cuz british armies ran out of tea and have to be supplied by sea.

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but the first Metal Gear was set in South Africa. The series goes back to it on occasion IIRC.

Far Cry 2

Mentioned it alongside bio5! Great setting but I wish I could sprint for longer then 5 seconds without mods!

Also it has the sickets healing animations
I also love weapon jamming

And its one of the rare games were a crap gun can actually blow out in your face!

It plays like a mix between Pitfall and Zelda 2. It's actually a pretty fun game. There's powerups and areas to unlock. It's almost a pseudo metroidvania. A bit repetitive though.
