Games like the zero escape saga

Tittle says it all. I finished the zero escape trilogy like a year ago and I'm itching for another mystery adventure. I know about Danganronpa but I couldn't get the appeal of it. I also know about the ace attorney games but I want something more dark. Any recommendations?

Uchikoshi also penned the AI: The Somnium Files games. Famicom Detective Club might also have what you're looking for.

The When They Cry series too, but they're very very gameplay light (in fact, only one or two entries out of each arc have any gameplay at all!)
