Recently or yesterday, I went from JB Central to Mid Valley Southkey with my aunt and sister and the experience was great! I've never been into a mall while an event is going on before, it's kinda cool though

I thought that there would be a dragon dance ngl, but that's okay (would be amazing though. Also, Happy Chinese New Year). I went to the usual trip in a mall like y'know? This and that store and restaurants. Yeah I know, basic stuff right? But you know what else isn't basic? GAME STORESSSSSSS!

There's quite a lot of things that I think needed to be captured, such as

This thing called "Ichiban Kuji" I think? I guess it's like one of those Gacha or collectibles thing?

I'm more interested in this one though, I love the art style! (Cute girl too)
1000022517.jpg

I love these kinds of stuff, it's so fascinating to see the parts moving
1000022522.jpg

Anime fans would love to buy some figures here (also that Bowser Jr one looks awesome)
1000022524.jpg

Ah Lego stuff (I don't know what can I say here but…it's cool)
1000022525.jpg

Is that a Super Mario World set?! How did I not see that before?
1000022527.jpg

Ooh this is the first I've seen a PS5 in front of my eyes and not just in the box, they look kinda tasty now (I don't think I can handle this intrusive thoughts anymore)
1000022528.jpg

Huh…I wonder what they're playing, those are also a cute looking…games (suddenly my intrusive thoughts are gone, I feel relaxed)
1000022529.jpg

But look at this! I've finally got to see the Rog Ally and Steam Deck! I can feel the power without even touching it…well, maybe I did just a little (the Steam Deck wasn't functioning unfortunately, but Rog Ally does work! Still can't play anything though)
1000022530.jpg

And of course, can't forget these other handhelds
1000022533.jpg

These kids really enjoyed them (they didn't let me play😔. Joking, of course…looks like they're having fun!)
1000022534.jpg

These symbols doesn't mean anything…right? ::peek(these things are quite bright too)
1000022536.jpg

Almost forgot to mention these big Ironman at the storefront (not my picture unfortunately since it was too crowded to capture it, but it looks like this from the actual store)

After that, we went to the usual trip again before we went to the multi brand electronic store. And guess what? More gaming stuff!

This device has shoulder buttons, without having the shoulder buttons? What technology is this?! (I live under a rock)
1000022545.jpg

This Rog Ally looks CLEAN! I love the black one too
1000022549.jpg

Lastly is of course, NINTENDO stuff
1000022552.jpg

Psst, my sister love The Legend of Zelda stuff ::hush
1000022553.jpg

That's all for the gaming stuff! Let me know if you wanted to see more

So, what about you guys? Have you been to any gaming store?

Last time I stepped foot in one was back in December when I went to Gamestop to grab a game. Man, it wasn't nearly as cool as your store. Hell, I think 3/5 of the store was Funko Pop and other tacky gifts instead of games.

My main store is ~45 minutes away. Dealt with them for ages and as a result, they treat me with a bit more respect than others. Matter of fact, next month is their 10 year anniversary.

Last year, however, I found a really neat place. I knew about it ahead of time and was effectively going into an arsenal, but I was still amazed at just how much was there. I'll give only a couple highlights since I'd rather not spam the thread.

Oh that's wonderful! A lot of Retro stuff too

I kinda wanted to see the main store, sounds like a great place with great people too. Also no worries! I don't mind if you spam the thread with gaming related stuff, especially in a store

And thank you for the highlight, awesome stuff!::yay
Looks like someone is having fun. The last time I’ve been in a gaming store is to buy a controller as a gift for Christmas.
That's cool though! And yeah I was having fun I guess (it was a bit crowded, it was worth it though!)

I'm sorry if anyone feels like I'm showing off, I just wanted to share my experience there. It was my first time visiting a place or store THIS big too!

I wish you guys can have a great gaming store like this or even better near you::bigboss

Typically, I don't take images of the usual place, because I've just grown used to it and only do it if I spot something very unusual that showed up there. That, and I've not been able to go back since April. Oof.

Thanks @DunkeyKong IT's fine. i just Either Ebay or find Deals close to me. not a big Deal TBH.

And i don't have to Drive it. Sometimes During Work hours, i have to Go by one of Said Stores anyhow.
and i have Time to Kill while there, so i shop abit.

Good to know man, sometimes it's better to just get it delivered (especially with the deals). It's good to go to other places too before heading there. Like they always said "it's not about the destination, it's about the journey"

Also, great gif! I'll HOP ON

Dang that's rough, that's okay though
I hope that place is still holding up ::dkapproves

Man the game stores near me wish they were of that scale. I want to get another Anime figure. I have a cool one of Yamcha but I really want one of Major Kusanagi. And maybe a Nonon Jakuzure one once I live on my own hehe.

@Skeetos Thats fire yo. I Got My Fav DB Character as well

That one is really cool. I do want one of Krillin. He's my favorite. I got the Yamcha on a vacation to Cali to visit family. My Cousin took us to Little Tokyo and we went to a japanese import shop. The Yamcha was the only figure I thought was cool. Not too big on My Hero lol.

From an actual Japanese shop?! That's so cool! And you made a great decision there, Yamcha is just goated ::bigboss

Imma be honest. They had a pristine copy of DOAX3 Scarlet up in that hoe. I had the money. I knew I was gonna get memed on if I bought it though so I passed it up for homeboy lol.

That's a pretty gigantic place, that's cool. I think the biggest one in this area is Game Dude in Burbank, but it's a bit of a drive to get there. When I live in Seattle, there are multiple game places but my favorite is the Pink Gorilla chain, though I think all three of their locations would fit in this one place you went to, heh.
