Hi,lately I searched for some games save states but I never find some of them.

A lot of games has trophy and extera to opens, which naming character or things like that isn't important at all.

It wouldn't be better to have a save file for games used cheat code or have all the extera items?

save files aren't copyrighted as I know, and I heard they even sell them!(I not meaning selling them,I mean people use them as much they even pay for them)

This was my suggestion. Now wait for others.

Hi,

In my opinion, I think add this to the Repo may be "too much".
For saves, you already have GameFAQs website or another like that.
At least, a forum can be better than an entire section on the repo.

Hello. Yeah you are Right so...let's delete this.

Even if a suggestion is not accepted, it's good to be kept for historical purpose.

About the suggestion itself, as Ninja mentioned, creating a section is too much... however, it is possible to create a thread for it (and of course anyone can do this)

However, sharing in-game save files is generally preferred over save-states... because normal in-game save files are more portable and generally a safer option.

Normal saves can be useful, as sometimes they're even compatible between different emulators or can be converted. Now, save states are way more frail - PCSX2, per exemple, keeps breaking its save state compatibility between versions. Gamefaqs have a database of saves, we could have the same, informing which emulator was used to create the save.

Agreed with Yuki. Having normal saves on the repo could be useful for people. As a thought it could come as an extra download on the game page while listing what is on that specific save and how far in the game they are at.

Another option would be to have a separate section on the repo for saved games.

Thanks for that I will make a thread for that in right place.
