Game recommendations for someone new to gaming

For action platformers I started with Spyro the Dragon, and if you want it portably the Reignited Trilogy is on Switch.

Eyo why don't you play coop even if it's hard it still fun
Shadow of the ninja maybe hard but it's good
Also battle city if you want something simpler
Tennis is pretty good too

Idunno which genre you're mostly into, but Evil Zone on the PS1 (AKA Eretzvaju) is objectively the simplest Fighting Game to both learn and master and also happen to be incredibly fun! (Ignore the infantile pillocks from the FGC, they do not have your best interests at heart and thus, are not part of this conversation!)

If you want to get into JRPGs but you've never played a video game before I suggest playing Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. It's basically a JRPG with training wheels on to get you started.

Sorry for the very late reply but, i have been playing Peggle with her lately and everyone that i've recommended it to has loved it be it hardcore gamers or casual

id say something like magical pop'n on snes, nyo! its very easy platformer with fun ost and super kyute, nyooo! also can beat it pretty quick, nyooo :3

will check this out!!! it looks super cute, didn't knew there was any easy (at least comparatively) games on the snes, thanks for the recommendation
