man did china have a thing for making bootlegs of games that never get port. real shame to be honest close fan service for gamers that the actual publisher just refused to make happy if asked. most times the games the publisher put out tend be the same games over new Generation of consoles ::sadkirby

I liked the arcade original by Konami. It was like playing an RPG in an arcade. I finished it by collecting the passwords fervently for my next play in a local arcade long ago.

Yeah I need to go back and finish it. Its actually pretty lengthy for an arcade game. I mean imagine sitting in an arcade dropping mad quarters to beat it; would take over an hour at least similar to Sega's Spikeout arcade beat em up...

The arcade version, and also the arcade game Light Bringer, feel like 2D Dark Souls just in the way you move between different “fantasy” action locations. The scenery feels different and fresher than most 2D games of the era.

what another gauntlet style arcade game i've never heard of, with a password system? and it's by konami!? i'm under the rock living under a rock here!
time to go figure out how to get MAME working again
