Somewhere only God knows.
Which futuristic anime world would you like the future of our real world to be, or at least resemble? Personally, I would love to have either Cowboy Bebop's version of the future or Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou rendition, although the latter is more of a post-apocalyptic version. But what about you?

The only made up thing I wish would be real is Warhammer 40k. And well we are in the right direction of it with all the current wars and other crap GrimDark is what we have become experts on.

If I could, I’d learn Rasengan or kage bunshin no jutsu in a heartbeat.

Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star

Well, it is one of the possibilities IRL (if shit turns hot right now, it will be); if that setting became the future, at least we have a beacon of hope that lies within Kenshiro's fists...

Dude can literally heal the blind and deaf. He's like kung-fu Jesus.

Maybe Basquash if we ignore the mecha.
Planetes seems like the closest one to me.
Chobits is another possibility.
But like the way the things are going, we'll will end up with the most boring and cruel version of cyberpunk ruled by the Chinese Communist Party.

For those of you who know who Akira Kagami, His art work and other projects he made give me some what if a feel of how I’d imagine an ideal future full of robotics and technology would go. I don’t imagine it to be full of flying cars and a full dome city with a bunch smooth white buildings. But just almost every bit modern day architecture and design we live with today with downtowns and suburbs still existing and looking the same with the only minor difference being that if we’re talking about heavy duty vehicles and or building equipment being more advanced along with public transportation and technology like vending machines and what not having more function but not in terms of any type of cheesy gimmicks..I’d say that would be a chill but extraordinary experience in my eyes. That or I’m just making random shit up off the top of my head lol

Though I doubt it happens before my expiration date, I could see the world going like Cyberpunk Edgerunners. World events, tech moving the way it is. Gun and weapons being developed. Corporations running more and getting away with even more. Doubt I'll see flying vehicles depicted on the show in my lifetime.

^This^. I've seen it increasingly going that way for years. Also, for the AVs in the show I could totally see something as unsafe and terrible as those things dominating the skies with EM-Accelerated VTOL jets that spit terrifying amounts of pollutants on those below simply because of money and the cool factor being more important to the assholes calling than shots than lives or a viable biosphere. It's not like there's been any real push IRL to do smart things like networked geothermal energy or Thorium Reactors until very recently, when it's probably far too late for any of those things to make a difference (we hit the Carbon Maximum in 2016, when the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere became self-perputating and necessitated extreme geoengineering measures like shooting off a Sulphur Gun that would probably be just as damaging and famine-inducing as Severe Climate Change itself). We already have literal bionic commandoes fighting in Ukraine, the way FPV drones are used is literally like a mix of the fucking Hunter-Killer and Dragonfire dones from Black Ops 2, corporations and the ultra-rich are increasingly above the law when it comes to everything from major financial fraud, price-fixing conspiracies, and even shit like rape and manslaughter. For instance, you ever hear of RealPage? It's a service that uses state of the art learning algolrithms to deduce what the most competitive price a landlord should charge you. In other words it uses an algorithm jack up your fucking rent to the nigh-unlivable level it is at in the States now. Even landlords and property management companies that don't use it are forced to jack up prices to remain competitive with the ones that do. Anyways this is going real politcal so Im'ma cut off there. But you could say we are in a cyberpunk dystopia right now.
