So sick of Beat 'Em Ups. It's one of the only genres the person I live with is interested in playing, so we have an overabundance of Beat 'Em Ups available to play, and little else.

We've been playing Shredder's Revenge, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Cowabunga Collection, Double Dragon, River City Ransom, etc. I am so tired of Beat 'Em Ups. They're all over the SNES section of the Switch Online emulator, too. Why they included Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers, The Peace Keepers, and several others instead of more well-known, well-liked games (even for Beat 'Em Ups) I don't understand.

Oh well, we're getting the Kunio collection soon.

Always been a fan of the Streets of Rage series (we don't talk about the 3rd one), Golden Axe, Battletoads, Double Dragon, and their crossover game.

I never got into Streets of Rage until recently, and I hate how they skankified Blaze who looks like a total badass in the first game, and then every one after that she looks like a basic street hooker.

Beat Em Ups are probably one of my favorite arcade genres. I'm personally a fan of the stuff that has more open ended combo systems for player expression and style, like Sengoku 3, AvP, SoR4 Etc.

Also a lot of dope fan-made stuff out there, like Ultimate Double Dragon

Double Dragon was the first beat em up I played. It made me realize that games like this are more fun to play with someone else instead of solo.

I think my favorite beat em up was the Battletoads/Double Dragon one. I miss those days.
