I want to try playing the original to see if it's fun before I decide to buy the remaster, but when I try to emulate it on Vita3k, all I get is a black screen. Can anyone give me some help in how to fix it?

Android or pc?
If android what device? it needs a pretty strong one.

Post the vita3k log file. On vita3k directory.
After the error happens. Don't close and reopen vita3k or it will clear it.

Segment 2.png

These are two sections where I got error codes

Did you install the appropriate version for Vita3k?

Try changing Configurations > Settings > GPU > Backend Renderer to Vulkan.
I don't know if it will work GPU seems weak.

I'll load up FW here and try compare the logs.

It's worth noting that the log is full of errors, even when the game does load, so it might be worthwhile to wait a bit, like you said.

It works! other than the audio being out of sync will keep posted if another issue arises

I'm glad it works! I'll see if there's something that can be done about the audio. Good luck!
