Can we make a collection thread for all of those free games on PC that were created by lone indie developers or as passion community projects? The kind that AAA would never create?
I'm talking about sizeable experiences that may take more than an hour to complete. It can be standalone/total conversion mods, campaign maps (like for HL and GMOD), M.U.G.E.N games, RPG Maker games, small Unity game, etc. Anything you think is a good product of passion and is worth playing.
A few examples:
STALKER GAMMA - Amazing hardcore horror survival. Already spent hundreds of hours on it.
Hyper DBZ - The best original handcrafted M.U.G.E.N game no question.
Touhouh Gensokyo Reloaded - Does anything need to be said?
KOF WING 2022 - Best game with KOF characters you'll find in my opinion.
The Black Heart - Horror fighting game! Very cool.
Nijikaku - Weird Japanese memes fighting game (NSFW)
Dong Dong Never Die! - ...What?
Moemon - Classic GBA Pokemon games, but with cute anime girls!
Portal Revolution - Basically Portal 3
IB - An RPG Maker game that got quite popular.
Cry of Fear - An excellent single player horror game
Nightmare House - A cool horror experience that was created as a standalone mod for HL2.
Enderal: Forgotten Stories - A Skyrim standalone mod that is often said to have better campaign than the original.
Kitty's Horrorshow HAUNTED CITIES - A collection of experimental horror experiences that spreads upon 4 volumes. Very bizarre and very interesting.
