Hey guys!

I recently made a bunch of audio tracks to use with some of my projects. I decided to spread the joy and give away some of them so here's a collection of 20 tracks you are free to use in any way you want either for free or commercial projects.

There's also a YouTube video preview there in case you just want to listen in.
They have been AI generated and edited to correct some flaws here and there.

Hope you like them and can use them. If you do, drop me a line, I'd like to see your project.

Also, if you think of stuff you'd like me to generate, I can take your suggestions and do something when I have some time. The only catch is that I will most likely make a pack out of stuff like that and release it for free on itch, so nothing exclusive.

Cheers!

Very helpful stuff, my guy. I need music all the time and I have absolutely no interest in making it. Thank you!

Thanks! Drop some examples of what you like generally, I can try and get something done next time I'm at it.

You know the music slaps when it makes you imagine scenes from games you've never played. Great work!

I read that title as "Free 8 brit(ish) chiptune audio tracks...":loldog

Haha, now I can't unsee this! Nor edit the title... :D

Thank you! I actually do this, listening to specific music when writing some game story. It's remarcably efficient in expanding the view and grabbing new ideas.

Thanks! This is very helpful as I'm slowly developing a game in my free time and even though I know typically music and such comes last it bothers me to no end to bug test in silence so I will be using these for sure!

Absolutely, go right ahead.
Thank you!

I'll link their VGM pages as well

Alien 3 (for the Sega Genesis)
[Stage Four and Level Guardian are top picks]

Alien 3 (for the Gameboy)

Super Metroid
[Track 1 and track 3, are very choice]

Metroid
[VS Mother Brain and Kraid's Lair]

Yeah, looking at them my selection is a little weak but hopefully the vibe comes across. Sometimes eery, sometimes peppy, always spacey. I'm making a game (or at least trying to) set on a bug infested planet that the player needs to escape from. The levels are pretty varied so high or low energy songs are welcome, just so long as it fits the vibe (yenno, no organs or bagpipes).

Thanks btw, I really appreciate this - I'm not a sound tech in any capacity, but I just started doing sound related stuff yesterday, and without even accounting for music it's a near-Herculean task
