Flycast or reddream

I never used Redream, it seems to aims for user friendliness which is nice but it's also closed source and has features locked behind a paywall.

I'll stick with Flycast.

Redream. It’s quite simple to use (create a folder to store the Roms in and go to the library where it’s stored to instantly have multiple games and keep adding stuff but refresh by doing it over again) and it’s yet to give me problems. Do look up the controls though cause some of the defaults are on keyboard buttons you never thought to use.

Redream is reliable in my experience.

i use both
for the commercial releases, both are pretty good/great
for the homebrew/old emulators, imo Flycast is better but still distant from 100% compatibility

If you're just playing native games for the Dreamcast, go for Redream. But if you're playing NAOMI conversions like CVS2, MVC2 or KOFXI, I'd say Flycast is the better choice. Not to mention is the emulator used for Fightcade when it comes to Dreamcast.
