Fixing the tail concerto undub

Hey guys if anyone wants to help on this project please reply with a discord. Essentially from my understanding the opening fmv has japanese and english subtitles (No idea why the schizoid kept the japanese text) and essentially to unmute the in game diologue. There's a lot of damn voice acting in game for this to be acceptable. I am very new at this but i am willing to work with someone who knows how to even edit this to begin with to fix this problem. The game deserves a better undub. Eventually if this gets done then we can re polish the translation down the line but for the most part the unmuted voice acting in game and opening FMV is the most important things to do right now.

Fyi i have checked the files within the game to confirm there is a lot of voice acting that is missing because the patch maker decided it was a good idea to be lazy and unmute the dialogue based on a E3 build? IDK seems lazy to me guys.

just why not bring check the files from japanese or french version as well make a new translation as apparently that schizo didn't reused the E3 translation or a new translation based on french script instead made a glorified fan-fic putting its shitty ideas

That would be basically repolishing it. But i mean we could essentially do it from scratch. Again i have very little knowledge to doing this but would love to learn how to do this.

As for finding people for it, you gotta find some fan who would work for free on https://www.romhacking.net/ or something or before starting to talk first make it clear how much you are willing to pay because why else people would do it, right? lol

The JP text in intro is for the vocal lyrics, similar to anime fansubs, although tbh I think romaji would work better.

Ehh i disagree, i think just english text is sufficient enough. The text spacing is just off.

Sure, it would certainly things less busy. Hopefully in-game voices can be restored.
