JSFR. Despite only beating it for the first time a year or 2 ago. The Xbox has always just been the Jet Set Radio machine to me.

Brute Force at a friend's house once which isn't that bad of a game honestly, but for the first game I myself owned it was probably the OG Ninja Gaiden, pre-Black. Halo 2 of course was also pretty close to being my first one, but I'm pretty sure Ninja Gaiden was first. I didn't play the original Halo until much later.

Halo and project Gotham racing 2 where the two exclusives i got with my OG xbox back in the day and I highly recommend both.

My uncle used to live with us, he randomly showed up one morning in 2002 with an OG Xbox. Me, my brother and my cousin played halo for a very, very long time.

This was the first Xbox game I owned. I assume I played JSRF first but I don't remember for sure.

I was (and still am) a huge Dreamcast fan so when the Xbox came out with JSRF i bought one just for that game. mine was also 2 pack with Sega GT which tbh wasnt a bad game at the time.

It was Halo: CE. Played co-op with my dad and uncles in late 2002ish, and eventually managed to convince my granddad to buy it for me at a ShopKo or something despite the fact I didn't have an Xbox yet. Didn't get to play it again until Christmas 2003, mainly because I had an uncle who was an artist a Beep Industries and sent us a copy of Voodoo Vince (he actually put an Easter Egg of himself in the OG Xbox version, in the French Quarter map there's a pawn shop that has his name on it), so my mother finally bought us all an Xbox. I also remember getting RtCW: Tides of War, Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus, MechAssault and Brute Force around that time.

It was jet set radio future, loved that game, miss it so much

Then the first forza and those two games came with my older brothers xbox.

Then I played Halo and I loved it, rented KOTOR and I still love that game, made me think I love star wars a as whole and I really don't, only things related to the prequels and KOTOR, so even the new EA jedi games are tightly linked to the prequels

I miss remembered that as being the first forza for some reason, not sure why? Jet set radio future is one of the best games ever made and I love that microsoft and sega combined can not re release the game for some reason, lilely some legal issue with the games assets or something used in the game

When I got the original Xbox, 360 was already out, but it was too expensive.

The main 3 games that made me decide to get one (apart from the cheap price) were:

Panzer Dragon Orta -> My favourite Panzer Dragon until now :)
Dino Crisis 3 -> A true shame to the saga :(
CAT: Cyber Attack Team -> A tactical RPG where you have to defend CPU's lol

I believe Capcom released that game to fuck up the saga completely on purpose, as the 2 previous games were wonderful, specially the 2nd one and its more arcade gameplay.
