Two years ago or so, I started this game and I was quite enjoying it on my 3DS. Unfortunately, because of an accidental format of my 3DS while jailbreaking a DIFFERENT 3DS, I lost my save. I was probably about 15 hours in. Not too long after finishing the 11 chapter "tutorial".
I'd like to experience more Fire Emblem on handhelds, especially the 2D titles. However, I absolutely cannot be asked to go through all those stages once again just to get where I was before, especially with a gargantuan backlog. Kinda wanna watch an extensive youtube essay coverage instead while I rest/eat.
How essential is finishing Blazing Blade before trying out something like Sacred Stones? Is the mechanical gameplay evolution a big step up? I'm aware of Binding Blade, but after some of the things I've heard - I'm not particularly interested, and I like to have my RPG journeys relatively hassle free.
Regardless of my conclusion as a result of this thread, I'll be tackling Path of Radiance this year on Dolphin.
It's too bad there's no level select thingie for Blazing Blade, as I was having a damn good time with those stages.
Open to advice/suggestions,
Thanks!
