I've owned the game on Steam since release and never bothered beating it. Despite playing multiplayer for hours. This time I bought 4 different Call of Duty's on the PS3 after hearing how the multiplayer servers are still active. I decided to start with Black Ops and play through the campaign first and, my god, the story was actually pretty damn good. Actually one hell of a twist at the end. If no one has played it yet then I highly suggest playing the campaign. Then jump into multiplayer.

Oooo!! I hope this post gets multiplayer a bit more popping, because I’d love to hear people in this thread talk about multiplayer shenanigans!

YES! Revitalize what was good. Bury these Fortnite copy-paste games. What I want the most is Modern Warfare 2. The good ol days of my brother and I trash talking the opposite team after every Search & Destroy match.

I mean, the servers are still up, right? Might as well use ‘em!

One thing I’ve learned, about all games really: people never stop playing. Most of the time. There will always be someone, somewhere, out there in the world who is looking to game!

I sadly can’t contribute, because I would be a filthy PS3 player, but I’m going to keep bumping this thread to make sure other people see and possibly hop on!

So, what was your standout campaign level?

It would have to be the part where Reznov explained why he wants Dragovich and Steiner dead. For it being a PS3/360 generation game, they did a damn good job showing that. Of course I can't talk about the story with that because it leads to some spoilers. Especially with what happens at the end.

I still have the game installed but I haven't touched it in awhile. I should get back into it since I usually don't like leaving games unfinished. Maybe this was a sign!

If it's PC then I don't know if there's still an active community there. I do know there is one on the PS3 and 360 though.

Keep that in mind when expecting a reply from the people on it,
You can also start a new thread instead. This is just a heads-up, bumping is allowed in this forum.
