Fire Pro Wrestling 2 on the GBA for me is the greatest pro wrestling game of all time. Yes, with all the recent FPW games, as well as the new WWE games, it still reigns King for me. However the version we got for the US had a very crucial mode cut out, whether it be due to laziness, or time by the publisher, in it's place, we were just given more space to save our created wrestlers, which was not a fair trade off by any means. The mode was the Management/GM mode, one of the first of it's kind before WWE games started to implement it into their games. I so wanted to play this mode when I was a kid, back when it first released in the US, but I had no knowledge of roms, or there was anything to play GBA roms on, and even if there were, I couldn't read Japanese. So time went on. I usually come to CDRomance for any translated/hacked games, and never saw this game, and the ones that had it up, it was incomplete, it had everything else, except the Management mode translated, which made it useless. Than, about a week ago, I was scrolling through Reddit, and saw a comment saying Final Fire Pro Wrestling(Called Fire Pro Wrestling 2 in the US) was the best game for them on the GBA, and that they completed the GM mode in English.

WHAT???

Turns out, a full translated version, including the holy grail GM mode was released about a year or two ago. I had no idea. So, I searched, and found this, did the simple patches, and viola, it's true. Everything was in English. It's not really much, but THIS is my Christmas gift to myself. Very happy. Playing this on the Miyoo Mini+ is just a video game dream come true.

I hope Spike reads this, and puts this incredible game up on the site, many like myself, probably have no idea that a fully translated GM mode is out there. Sorry for the long story to get to the point

Both Fire Pro Wrestling games for the GBA were awesome. Honestly, the GBA versions was my introduction to FPW. I didn't know about the SNES & Genesis (Thunder Pro Wrestling: Retsuden) versions until a few years later.

When I saw that Fire Pro Wrestling Returns was made for the PS2, I was quick to pounce on it back in 2007. I like how they expanded the game further beyond the GBA games. I especially liked the endless battle royal. In that match, when an opponent is eliminated, they are still permitted to wreak havoc in the ring for everyone else.

I was also excited for Fire Pro World when it released on Steam & for the PS4. I liked the ability to download & upload created characters, but the problem I had was some characters won't fully download even if you subscribe to other parts of the content. This makes the characters unselectable.

The Fire Promoter mode is a fun addition to this game too. I like trying to poach other wrestlers from other promotions & steal their championship belts during a cross promotion event. Its not long before the competition goes bankrupt.

True. It's a great game with that GM Mode, but for me greatest pro wrestling game of all time is TEW (Total Extreme Wrestling) series on PC. It's like Pro Wrestling equivalent of Football Manager, but with matches only in text form.
