Well, the game is at .88b. There isn't much left to do. The game plays very well and I am very surprised Mauro stuck with it this far. Here is his page:

His itch.io page still has the original release from January 20, 2024. The current version is vastly superior. Only a matter of time before he does the full release. What are people's thoughts on his work and are you excited for the finished product?

Well, to tell the truth, I have played some versions of the original Final Fight, including the Arcade version (Vanilla & 30th Anniversary Edition that counts up to 3 Players), SFC/SNES (Vanilla & Guy), Mega/Sega CD, and GBA (One), but I haven't played the MD/GEN version. However, it looks quite good for a homebrew port.

there's an arcade 3 player port? that's sick i never it any where.

Was more hyped for this than I ever was Paprium. Played like a dream on my Everdrive x3 with an SG Propad 2

I feel like the Genesis/Mega-Drive is a lot easier to develop new games for out of the box than the SNES?
A lot of it has to do with the robust set of tools devs have access to, SGDK for example. While the SNES has been seeing some impressive homebrew (like the vastly improved Doom using the "Super FX3" chip, quotes mine, because the hardware is custom), it's nowhere on the same level as what the MD gets, at least for now.
