first time playing this game and stuck on the elmdore lucavi fight, fans lie this game is ball busting hard, i felt bad at first for grinding and min maxing, but you really need level 99 and complex setups to beat this game without stress and praying to rng, anyway it's a good game, better than modern ones

Ummm lol. It does take some rng luck, but you can definitvely beat Elmdor without a lvl 99 party. You need a hasted dual wielding Ninja Ramza and some other busted party members. You also need status protection against charm from the dancer girls. The biggest determining factor is if the RNG decides to cooperate and Rafa gets out of the way. I'm not sure if you are talking about the rooftop fight or the one inside the building, but they both are beatable with the right equipment/party.

Enemies level up with you (similar to FF8) which makes the game challenging throughout. I remember the auto potion ability being a life saver throughout this game. This is one of, if not thee best game ive played in terms of gameplay which at times can be very tricky, especially during boss fights as your character arrangement before the battle matters GREATLY. I actually defeated the final boss with all my characters dead minus 1 and killed the boss when his magic spell damaged him because i was right next to him therefore killing himself. Played the ps1 version and looking forward to the enhanced psp release

In Final fantasy tactics on PSP enemies get highest level you have at your party. Yep it make the game do freaky hard but if you get an orator in start of game you can get high level enemies to your party. It is so useful on emulators.
But in consoles......"you've met the trouble fate, haven't you?"
Gba version is a piece of cake and it had some OP skills.

The first time I played this I had a hard time defeating Wiegraf in his Lucavi form (I didn't expect he would transform lol). The difficulty spike that time surprised me as I had to restart my whole save file from the beginning because I screwed up saving. But just like batman with enough preptime you can overcome any battle in this game.

Yeah Wiegraf is one of those moments in gaming where you learn the value of having multiple save files. As those castles with 3 inescapable battles are an easy way to soft lock yourself.

Kinda sad though. I think the tactics games of final fantasy are the only game that's not ported to pc yet.

Is there anyway to play Final Fantasy Tactics S. I believe this game was released only for mobile in 2013. Is there anyway to play it today?

Archers are your best friends. Makes the game so much easier. I recommend Front Mission 3, and Tactics Ogre after tactics, which I consider the 2 greatest SRPGS of all time, above tactics. If you want more after those 3, check out Vandal Hearts 1.
Best class in hard one. But become useless against who knows arrow block

Naw you don't need all that. Just use 'yell' and have a fast team over a beefy team any day. You gotta be careful leading up to Limberry Castle. Many of us had to restart our entire playthroughs lol

I heard about restarting whole play but I never seen it.
one reason I rather to play GBA FFT is this game was so good you can level up so quick and get best jobs fast.

Final Fantasy Tactics is more of a slow-burn but with a much deeper payoff once you learn to adapt to its systems. It takes a while but the AHA moment makes it ALLL worthwhile! Also the payoff to the story is truly masterful as well. So many gut-punches in this game and they are all wonderful. (maybe I'm a masochist?)
