Since there is a color hack for Final Fantasy Adventure/Seiken Densetsu, I hope there will be one for Final Fantasy Legend.

I saw one in the works for Legend 2 but it hasn't been updated in a long time.

I didn't like the DS remake personally. Although, it does have an english fan translation

If you're talking about Final Fantasy Legend 1, there is a Wonderswan color port of it, it's been fan translated as well.

There is. Its Saga for the wonderswan color. AND it has an english patch. Happy gaming.
