It's not Final Fantasy Legends 3 DX, It's Jikū no Hasha ~ Sa·Ga 3 [Kanketsu Hen] (時空の覇者 Sa・Ga3 [完結編] The Ruler of Time and Space ~ SaGa3 [Final Chapter]) DX

if this were a fan translation on top of a DX patch, i'd have to agree with you. However this isn't the Japanese original version, it's the English one.

For me this game is the best of the Main Trilogy of Sa-Ga/Final Fantasy Legend for the Game Boy and also the most consistent and balanced of all, especially in the game system and also the DX Version adds Color to give it a colorful look that characterizes it at least.
