Yes, this is a Nintendo DS game ported to the Wii. And no, there's no way to inject another DS rom into this since Square used the DS source code to build the Wii version, no emulation involved. Neat game, though. UNDUB Info: Patch by: swosho Source: https://archive.org/details/ffcc_echoes_of_time_wii_undub_patch Notes: Same as with the DS undub, subtitle timings and accuracy can be a bit rough here and there.

this game is stupid fun if you can manage to find 3 other friends to play it with, just use the DS version since it's easier to set up lol.

An entertaining and easy game for the DS with a lot of content to play with friends, but a greedy move by Nintendo for the Wii. They just ported the DS game and added a background to avoid black borders, without even improving the image quality.

Nintendo? Square did this to themselves.

All I can say is, do yourself a favor and play the DS version.

Still one of the most baffling ports ever. Even if they just wanted to port the game over without overhauling it, I'll never understand why they didn't just make all of the touchscreen stuff an overlay toggle considering the game itself barely requires it anyways.

Fun game still, though.

I just did a playthrough of the DS version recently and i really enjoyed it.

I'd recommend to have a party of two, with one of the characters being a Selkie for their double jump to make platforming easier.

I've always wondered if this game could be used to play other DS games in the way the gb tower in pokemon stadium can be tricked into running other games besides pokemon.

Just want to point out that with this post, we've finished all currently available Wii undubs (at least that I can find).

A huge thanks to swosho, who's the guy behind most of these hacks.

I know some of these games are either mediocre or need an actual wii remote to play, but we're achieving for completion here, so at least give a chance to some of these Wii games with their original Japanese audio =).

I tried these "Crystal Chronicles" on ds (no wii here), but I found them a bit clunky when it came to push/pull things around dungeons. I remember this feeling, though I would have liked to enjoy them (because they're FF and because they're rpgs).
Is it just a bad memory of mine? In any case I could try them again on twilight.
