I've never played SF6, but I've been curious on how they'd do Ingrid, so I see this and think that they just put an MVC character in a grounded fighting game.

It's been a pet theory of mine that the Street Fighter Developers have long been hardcore fans of Sailor Moon...just check out the credits section from the SNES SF2 and up, games released during the 90's, there's always a mention of Sailor Moon, Super Sailor or Eternal Sailor. Sailor Moon has also influenced the creation of certain characters like Chun-Li and Sakura as well as Cammy's back win pose since SSF2.

My theory is that Ingrid is the culmination of Capcom's long time Sailor Moon obsession. She had cups on her head like SM, her original costume has aspects that resemble a Sailor Fuku and her powers are centered on the Sun, the last heavenly body that remains unrepresented in Sailor Moon (I think.). Ingrid is technically Sailor Sun, Capcom's own fan character for or a homage to Sailor Moon but of course, they'll never admit that.

Is it better than the first game at least? I played the first game a couple of months back and I couldn't make it through the arcade mode.

I really hope so because I nearly lost my sanity when I played Toshinden 1.

Not much to say when it comes to the Toshinden games, I played all four of them, and they're alright at best, super janky at worst.

3 might be the best one to play, but even that game takes some weird choices like having massive healthbars but just one round per match. I liked my time playing those games, but they definitely take time getting used to.

Welp, I can see why people or Max Dood (not that it was hard to begin with as Ken is fun in all of the Alpha/Zero titles too) love playing Ken with his third super art in 3rd Strike. I got a new high score in the 3 million range now.
