Are there any yokai, (Japanese monsters) that you like? For example, the kappa.

While I myself don't know every yokai, I do know of the kitsune, yuki-ona, rokurobuki, kappa, aka manto, kuchisake-onna and whatever those other vampire women things were that could fly around with just their upper bodies. 🎃

The Jorogumo! I really like spiders in real life, so the idea that a spider who lives for a very long time can spontaneously become magical is cool to me. Speaking of real spiders, there are several orb-weavers native to East Asia that are named after the Jorogumo.

My favorite must be a no-brainer, The baku can go from fren shaped to horrific but cool looking beasts with benevolent goals (Eat bad dreams)

A second contender must be the Kitsune, enigmatic, slender, ominous, graceful and at times comical, i love foxes in general, so seein them ghostified make my heart content

Hm... several, but probably the Yuki Onna comes to mind readily for me.

Umibozu 4 life

I have fought the Umibozu so much in so many games, I've got to give it credit!

It's likely just a monster based on an unidentifiable large squid or a blue whale or something at the time.

The one that is essentially an excuse for when you steal your parents alcohol
