Think of how many games let you throw down with your bare hands and how important they are to video game combat as a whole. Plus, beating someone that has a giant sword or axe down with your bare knuckles is cool as hell. I love doing bare hand character build in games that allow it.

especially in mmos when 90% of the playerbase would choose anything but the striker/monk class. the contrast of being the only character that beats the ever living shit out these absurd enemies just using your fists has to be one of the best power fantasies

Shinobi

Akujiki the Demon Sword or "Devourer". A sword so powerful it can kill every boss in the game in one hit, assuming it doesn't completely devour your life force first.

Zenyatta's orbs in Overwatch are probably my favorite FPS weapon ever. There's really nothing like it that feels as buttery smooth, carefully planned and well-animated the way they do.

I also really like the K9000 Cyberdog Gun in the Old World Blues add-on of Fallout: New Vegas. It's a Minigun powered by a dog's brain and it'll growl to alert you of nearby enemies and cries when you unequip it.

Moonlight Greatsword

Awesome weapon that's been in almost every FromSoft game dating back to the original Kings Field. This is the weapon that made me branch out from doing Strength and Dexterity based builds and try different ways to play these games.

Ghiza's Wheel

On my first play through of Elden Ring, I dropped whatever build I was working on and started building around using this once I got it. I just love how bizarre and unique this thing is.

Murasama Blade

Tbh I could say high-frequency blades in general, but this one looks the coolest to me. A red katana that pretty much cuts through anything, whats not to love? Plus, Jetstream Sam is such a cool character as well.

Keyblade (Decisive Pumpkin)

I always thought the Keyblade was cool since I first saw it back in the day. I picked this one specifically because it's my favorite one to use in KH2 (My favorite KH game).

you can get a lightsaber in bayonetta one. it's called "pillow talk".
in the wii u and switch ports, you can have her use the lightsaber while wearing link's hero of time outfit. it's fucking awesome.
