Zelda usually seems to find a satisfying puzzle balance:

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle & Scribblenauts Showdown are two of my favourites for co-op puzzle options:

Otherwise, I really enjoy what I've played of Professor Layton & Phoenix Wright, just need to find the time to play more of them:

I also second the Zero Escape saga, Sam & Max and just about every 90's-2000's LucasArts adventure game, as others have also brought up!

I've never heard of "Money Puzzle Exchanger" but that looks like a 90's-00's anime I would love to watch
