Pinball Favorite Pinball Machines

Alright folks. I'm amaze no one has really discuss about this cause after all, Pinballs have proven that it's pinball gaming isn't about gambling, it's about skills. See Pinball Prohibition of NYC in the 1940's. So what are you favorite Pinball Machines over the years, both physical, bootleg, and digital?

Pinbot is my all-time favorite machine. The NES port of it is surprisingly good, too (played it all the time as a kid). When I first started messing around with Pinmame, of course I had to set that up first. Black Knight 2000 with that blaring Williams synth sound (as heard in Smash TV, Total Carnage, et al) was always fun, and very fast.

Star Trek: The Next Generation was a good DMD (Dot-Matrix Display) machine.

Fireball was an older machine that had a metal disc in the middle that would spin... I don't remember if you had to trigger it or if it just did it all the time, but the ball would catch on it and get shot off in a direction, but it was tough to guess where. Kinda kept you on your toes, it was cool.

There's one called Orbitor that's a glass playfield over a surface that I think is foam rubber, but it looks like the surface of a planet. Pretty cool visual effect. Iirc the playfield itself was fairly barren, but I don't need 900 bells and whistles to enjoy a pinball game.

I played a Space Invaders pinball that was a wider playfield, and the art was more in the style of HR Giger than Taito's own sprites. Pretty neat.

Epic Quest (Zen Pinball), Farfalla (all versions, Zaccaria pinball), and Devil Crash MD. The Switch is perfect for digital pinball since you can play tate in tabletop mode, and the rumble on the Joy Cons feels spot on.

I don't come across real tables often these days. The last one I played was Godzilla a few months ago. I do own this Pac-Man mini pinball table though (bought secondhand, needed some fixing). Simple, but fun for a few rounds every now and then.

Terminator 2 was probably the one I played the most though I can't remember where it was that I played it as I would always end up playing arcade games more. It's crazy but I lived relatively close to the Pinball Museum in Seattle at one point but I've only been there once.

I lived off Yesler and only made it there twice over the course of like eight years. Felt bad for not going more often.

I love, love, LOVE Attack from Mars!! It's my favorite pinball machine ever.
Here in Chile they got it in Entretenimientos Diana, but it's modified to always give you multi-balls XD

Yes! It’s so satisfying hitting that UFO! The local pinball bar has it in their lineup and I keep going back to Attack on Mars.

The Dr Who machine is great! One of the first pinball machines that really clicked with me.
Lately, I’ve been playing Devils on the Moon on my Playdate. It’s one of the best pinball video games, maybe even better than Demon Crush on Turbo Grafx.

I love Gottlieb's Black Hole (1981). Great 2nd playfield gimmick where you try to stay there as long as possible, and getting multiball isn't super easy either. It's such a simple design it has no right being a fave, yet here we are.

F14 Tomcat is probably the only pinball I have played that really feels like it's theme. I know the meme "It really makes you feel like you're batman!", but Tomcat genuinely makes me feel like I'm piloting a fighter jet. Just furiously fast fun!

I like pinball machines but they're so rare in my country.

Not an actual table but I remember there were 2 tables for Pinball FX2 that I enjoyed on our old XBOX 360. One was the Paranormal table which had some anti gravity physics that you could never do on an actual table and a second haunted house screen. The other was the Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo pinball table. Unfortunately, the latter was a console exclusive and can no longer be obtained...

The Space Jam pinball, which was the one I played a lot on my childhood

You had a chance to launch the ball into that little hoop if you figured out the correct force to do it, so fn cool, I loved it. Would buy it if I had the paper.
