Deadites - They can literally be anything. Objects, your dead loved ones, even YOU. They get played for laughs in a lot of Evil Dead media, but conceptually Deadites are truly terrifying. Perfectly embodies everything terrifying about the concept of "demons"

The Kandarian Demon - The big final boss of the Deadites

Fast zombies. Those are the ones that are truly terrifying. Better have your cardio in good shape.

T-Rex - This monster celeb has made his presence known in movies and quite a few video games too

Jaws- There was a time in my life where just about any body of water filled me with dread thanks to this guy. Big sharks in general are scary

Ancient, interdimensional, or cosmic deities with no regard for human life

I'm a zombie lover 4 LIFE
Fast ones, slow ones, snarlers, moaners, I love zombies. They're the ultimate horror monster to me and I love how versatily they are at what you can represent with them and what an author can try to convey using them.

My personal top favorites are the zombies from Resident Evil 1-3, and I usually prefer when they're slow and moaning because it's way scarier imo.
Also love when you can still see the pupils/iris because it makes their humanity show and it freaks me the fuck out.

Definitely Tar-Man from "Return Of The Living Dead", the Killer Klowns from "Killer Klowns From Outerspace", the Monster from "Terrorvision" and Max Schreck from "Shadow Of The Vampire"

I'm just going to mention whatever float first on my head without thinking much about it.

The Thing from, well, The Thing (1982). I always love shapeshifting monster simply because the amount of paranoid inflicted make you distrust pretty much everyone until proven they're safe. I love Twelve (3rd Strike) design and Alex Mercer (Prototype) as well. I'd say Alex is a monster.

And now be ready for Baroque section. Galgal-Tank-Joe, it can drift, it can swoosh, and it can blast your ass to smithereens. Do I need to say more? Its name is also Joe.

Liar is my favorite Grotesque in the entire game. I think it's the only monster that I'm aware of which can inflict Lust that specifically turn whatever object or someone you see into beautiful woman. You gotta love when you afflicted by Lust then accidentally step on Rot Pattern and ruin your entire run (happen to me once). Alice has unique dialogue as well when you talk to her while inflicted.

Double offer alert! Double offer alert! Or-huganous and Death. If I were a kid, I would find this design to be cool and edgy just like I love Shadow the Hedgehog edginess in his own game on PS2. But now? It's still looks cool and edgy.

Kushala Daora (and Fatalis). Daora is my all-time favorite monster in MH franchise, just a simple black European dragon that can manipulate wind/storm with metallic skin. So much more fun with its Risen variant in Rise Sunbreak (but also miserable in coop).

Youkai Kusaregedo (Samurai Shodown V). A human that turned into demon after his atrocities done to his own kin (cannibalism) during the great famine, he has faint of humanity, but the desire to eat anything is stronger than the power of friendship and love, including devouring his own daughter. Very fucked, but one of the more unique characters in fighting games.

-Horrors beyond human understanding
I could go all day listing off EVERYTHING from Lovecraft to Ito, so I'll just keep it simple and say THE THING.

-Giant monsters
Godzilla and Gamera are the GOATs, enough said.

-Beings from another world
Yautja/Predator and the Xenomorph, these two and Godzilla sparked my love for special effects at a very young age.

-Demons
These guys aren't exactly "monsters" like how one would expect when one hears the word, but Butterball and Chatterer are absolutely freaky looking.
