This is the Atari Paddle Controller.

The Jogcon. A PS1 controller with really satisfying grips and a force feedback dial thing in the middle for R4 specifically, I don't remember if it works with other titles.
Really good choice! I was between that one or the Negon. I got the Negon and give a shot with R4. It is great and I love the travel on the buttons. It is as close as I can get to driving on the PS1 without actually getting a racing setup for it. Maybe I'll wait until later to buy a Jogcon just to own it and compare the two.

The PS2 Onimusha 3 katana controller

A local gamestore near where I used to live had one of these that collected dust on a shelf for over 10 years. It's cool but useless as a controller, and at the price it sold for you could just buy a real sword for display.

Okay, for serious now

I mean just LOOK at this beast. The Bandai Hypershot for Space Shadow on Famicom is about the coolest looking video game gun I've ever seen.

Beat me to it 😆

Never tried the Dreamcast one, but the Saturn Twin Stick is one of my prized possessions. As is the smattering of Virtual-On merch that I have peppered around the house.

(not my photo - mine's a little more beat-up and well-used than this one)

Fun Story: My wife and I were evacuated from our home due to a wildfire a few years ago. There was little time, and we just had to grab the few things we could fit in our Mazda and hit the road! Got the pets, her wedding dress, a few photo albums... and the Sega Saturn Virtual-On Twin Stick.

I'm... not particularly proud of that decision, in hindsight. But at the time, when I racked by brain in a frenzy to think of the things I didn't want to lose, it was one of the first things to pop into my mind.

No other consoles, no other collectibles, no other heirlooms, no other stuff - just the Twin Stick.

I have no idea why we're wired the way we are, sometimes 🥴
