most people hate the slow speed of it, but i feel the aesthetic makes up for it

Robo Aleste, it's the follow up to it. There was supposed to be a Robo Aleste 2, but it didn't happen.

I had a Genesis as a kid and it was one of my least favorite consoles, oof. All I remember is a lot of games being extremely challenging (including all of the Sonic games, so I lost any interest in Sonic games since then). I'm a big JRPG fan and the Genesis doesn't really have any that stand out, while its competitor, the SNES, had so many classics. Anyways, here's what I remember enjoying:

If you're into RPGs you should check out Landstalker. Its one of the MegaDrive's standout RPGs imo

I've been playing the Master System version of this a bit lately. Its a big step up from the C64 versions lmao
