Just realized that two of my Favourite games of all time are on Dreamcast, but I’ve never seen a real Dreamcast in my entire life :O

Well most of my favourite games are more or less on that hardware as well.

Namely Rez and theoretically Half-Life.

Record of Lodoss War
Blue Dolphin
Demolish Fist
Gunbird
Heavy Metal: Geomatrix (People hate on this for no reason)

Black Matrix ad, one of the very few turn based strategy in the console to satiate my addiction.
The rent a hero remake, very tongue in cheek humor and the triumphant return of Segata Sanshiro(after successfully nuking the moon).

Off topic: Arkham Knight is better than any Dreamcast game I've played personally. But I'm a sucker for Rocksteady Arkham games.

To be fair I think it's a bit unfair to compare a modern game made in the 2010's with a 6th gen console.

My issue with that thread is that many games I love on the Dreamcast got ports/remakes so this is hard to find exclusives.
 
Power Stone 1 and 2 for sure, and the Sonic Adventure games. I'll always mentally associate Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Last Blade 2 with the Dreamcast as well.

Edit: Thread reminded me of Virtual On OT and Code Veronica too. I need to dust my Dreamcast off lol.
 
Both Sonic Adventure games were my top favorites.

Sonic Shuffle: Although this game was panned by critics I occasionally enjoyed it.

Ecco: This game was kind of difficult. And at the same time a little bit scary. It took a long time to get past the great white shark.

Space Channel 5: My roommates were annoyed by this game whenever I played it.

Street Fighter 3 Third Strike: I liked the music and gameplay compared to SF Alpha 3.

And although I’ve never came close to beating these games I also enjoyed Shenmue and Jet Grind Radio.

It’s a shame that Sega threw in the towel and stopped making hardware. They had a team of talented people with great imaginations.

Strangely, I find myself playing CvS1 more than CvS2, since it's kinda fucked up, lol
