Favorite Dog Breed ?

I'm not a dog person, but I'd probably be more comfortable around something that doesn't have major health issues from selective breeding for desired appearances.
It's a bit sad that some of them have health issues.

If I had to genetically alterate a species I'd decide to make them more proficient (if not trying to make them the perfect lifeform).

I think all of them are good in their own ways, but if I had to pick my favorites, I'd probably say:
Jack Russel
West Highland Terrier
Dalmatian
Dachshund
Boston Terrier

I may be biased, but I don't know if it gets better than this, the no breed dog.

My favorite breed is one I can touch without my hand breaking out or my eyes watering. So far the occasional poodle that comes down the the pet store I frequent has been my fav so far. A few goldendoodle puppies were also a pleasant surprise but I won't be seeing a dog for a long time. I have a cat and he's a very spoiled boy who would not like to share after getting his own place and people.

I've never owned a dog, and if I were to choose one, I’d probably go for a mixed breed.
However, three breeds I do like are Bernese Mountain Dogs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and Cirnechi dell’Etna (also known as Sicilian Greyhounds).
In the photo, a Bernese Mountain Dog looking hot—it's a picture from quite a few years ago.

I love them all equally but my choice would be the Yorkshire Terrier because I've warmed up more to them thanks to my actual dog, before it was the Siberian Husky. He's a good little Yorkie, pic below is how he normally looks but thanks to the hot weather atm, he's in his shaved cut period till fall begins.

I'm prone to retrievers Goldens and Labradors, full of energy and rather "childish".
Mutts( or as we call them Quiltros ) are also a favorite of mine, they have longer healthier lives as they are less into that "crossbreeding" business.

I think the term you may be looking for is inbreeding.
