I haven't watched too many British sitcoms before but these are three of my favorite British TV sitcoms:

Bottom reminds me a lot of Beavis & Butt-Head, as Rik Mayall & Ade Edmonson act like the two.
The IT Crowd I remember watching some episodes of it in 2012 and liking it
Mrs. Brown's Boys is also pretty damn good.
Of course all three shows are equally funny.

Which British sitcoms or shows are your favorite(s)?

Not sure if it counts but it's mostly about cooking. Whether that be a competition, home recipes, a trip with a family, etc. I did remember this one show about a guy with his daughters going on a trip to many Spanish capital like in Madrid and Villarreal recently

It's about cooking too of course and I really like it. Not sure if I remember it though…oh wait! I think it was called José Andres and family in Spain

The Inbetweeners is definitely one of my favorites, I don't know how many times I've watched it but it's been a lot.

Father Ted is also pretty good.

I'd also highly recommend Two Pints of Lager and Packet of Crisps.

For scripted comedy, anything with David Mitchell. 'IT Crowd' is great too.

For british shows in general, I'm a sucker for old lady shows like 'British Bake-Off' because it's so comfy and light-hearted, but I think their game shows are probably the best ones around. 'Cats Does Countdown' and 'Would I Lie To You?' are fantastic. 'QI' is great too but I've become a bit bored with the format.

My family members love 'Dr. Who'. I'm not a huge fan but what I've seen has been alright.

The Prisoner (1967) is one of my personal favorites. Very surreal, extremely unique story and visuals. Definitely check it out! It’s about a Spy who resigns and gets captured by a mysterious organization. He’s forced to stay at strange dystopian coastal town called the “Village.” Each episode has the Agent, known only as No.6, attempting to escape the village.(played by Patrick McGoohan, the creator and star of the show) One of the most enthralling pieces of TV I’ve ever watched!

I did forget to mention that I also like Mr. Bean, as it's fun to watch Rowan Atkinson play the Mr. Bean character and every crazy thing he gets up to.

Lots of great recommendations! Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, but I have a couple more.

A criminally underrated show. It's basically a spoof of 80s low budget TV. I'm very bad at selling things, but trust me, it's worth a look! It's only six episodes too, so what have you got to lose?

Another great show by Graham Linehan, which is overshadowed by Father Ted and The IT Crowd. It was made between those two shows and is my least favorite of the three, but it's still an excellent show and totally worth a watch.

I'm that one basic guy but I.T. Crowd mostly out of nostalgia. I largely prefer short but good shows over long seasons with fillers myself. But I'm also the kind of guy who think that the fourth season and the Special aren't that great (except that one episode with Countdown), it could've ended with Season 3 and it would've been fine.

I do love Father Ted (because it was a bit more daring) but sadly Black Books didn't resonate as much with me (still good but not my fav).

I'll have to give Spaced a new chance because of Simon Pegg.

Allo Allo is funny but really long.

As for Dr.Who I'm not a massive fan but I loved the first season of the revival with Eccleston, it had that early 00's vibe which I like.

Darkplace is perfect in how they do things bad on purpose before it was trendy to make meta humour.

I've only watched a few British shows but my favorite ones are Mr Bean, Blackadder, The IT Crowd and Spaced.

I've rewatched IT Crowd few years ago and it aged like a good wine. And I would gladly rewatch it.
