Every upload so far, while it runs, the verification feature in Dolphin always tells me that it's a bad dump.

I went ahead and created my own patched disc, applying both 1.0 and the update (without madoka), and my copy works fine and is not being reported as bad by Dolphin. I also gave it a USA region Game-ID so that it won't conflict with the Japanese original.

Edit: Nevermind, it must be checking the original ID against the database and calling it bad, when it's edited to use a unique ID it doesn't come up as bad. Somehow I must have never actually run a verify on any of these discs before changing the IDs. Derp.

Personally, I prefer .ISO because I can convert them to .RVZ in the Dolphin emulator to save space on my hard drive.

And .RVZ is way better than .WBFS

I'll always upload ISO.


Fixed issue where the translation included the Ghost Madoka skin by default.

Someone pointed out this hack includes ghost Madoka skin.
That skin should not be the main patched version.
So I will add proper soon and leave this one as alternative.

Noob question all the wii translations games have gamepad support? im asking this because i hate wiimote.

If you have Dualshock 4 or Dualsense you can use its gyro as a Wiimote through DS4Windows. Its not ideal but that's how I played this game and FF2 Wii edition.

wbfs is a valid wii games format.

NKit gives unrecoverable errors when I try to restore this to ISO format, flagging it as bad for having been improperly scrubbed, Dolphin calls it a bad dump too. All the other Wii discs uploaded before this were fine...

The file works fine for me on Dolphin and Wii U.


It also converts back to ISO just fine with NKit:

Huh, wasn't this translation made in a way that only worked with legit copies? Nice to see it working fine with backups.

Game is also on PC (& Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series) nowadays btw. Officially in English and other languages. Pretty good port. Low spec requirements. I guess it lacks the unlockable Nintendo IP costumes (or were those only in the Wii U sequel?). Character models are remastered/remade but environments are largely the same (some finer details still like cloth physics on window curtains and stuff), of course you can run it in higher resolution and framerates easily. Some better lighting, shadows from the flashlight and such but also in cut scenes they give characters some extra lighting to make expressions and details more visible where in the Wii version they remained with whatever limited light source the area had alone, up to you which you prefer but the rest is objectively improved). Anyway, it's a solid horror game to play.​
