Fatal Blow VS X Ray

The X-Rays They are impressive to me because it is a super mechanic that fractures/damages the body parts such as bones, Internal organs, etc. of the opponent and also deals a good amount of damage to the opponent. Too bad that in the Mortal Kombat 11 he left aside this interesting and impressive mechanic that made it unique to the Mortal Kombat (2011) and Mortal Kombat X (2015).

Mechanics-wise, Fatal Blows. At least as far as those are concerned, you only need to worry them once in a while, unlike X-Rays where some people will just mash it to steal a win at the end of a round because nearly all of them are armored on startup. MK1 had the right idea of being able to interrupt Fatal Blows with the Combo Breakers, too.

I generally preferred Fatal Blows, as X-Rays were pretty underpowered and a poor use of meter compared to meter-burned specials and breakers in higher level play. The X-Rays are generally unused outside of casual matches and are a non-factor most of the time.

I'm not very well-versed in Mortal Kombat at all, but when they introduced those X-Ray moves I remember being really blown away at the detail and whatnot and I liked trying to get them out when playing MK at the one friend who had the game a thousand years ago.
I think it was that cool PS3 one with Kratos? I remember liking that Baraka guy.
