EVO 2026 Lineup

EVO has released its lineup for 2026

Great lineup with current mainstream games, new releases, niche games and classics.

Still, I can't shake the feeling Invincible VS is taking the place of Motal Kombat.
All thing considered, it seems even Warner don't care about MK anymore after MK I.

Aside from the obvious choices like Street Fighter, Tekken KoF and Fatal Fury, I'm glad they included Vampire Savior and BlazBlue. Maybe it will reignite some interest in those franchises? I wish...

Clearly, Invincible VS took MK spot. You can’t deny MK has been unbalanced and neglected in recent years, but it’s still strange not to see it on the list.

Vampire Savior would be cool be to see. I appreciate them bringing back older games like they did with Third Strike last year and MvC2 this year. Other than that though, no interest in watching lol.

I look forward to people seeing Hokuto no Ken for the first time. Game is wacky in all the right ways. Will probably be the only game I watch. Happy to see Vsav and BlazBlue included tho. Also no NRS is a blessing.

a lot of their games just look kind of muddy to me too, like they play kind of clunky and the colors are just kinda bluhhh

I wonder if this is Capcom hinting that more Vampire / Darkstalkers news may be on the horizon soon...?

Also, PSA for those that may be interested - each of the Vampire / Darkstalkers games are a part of Capcom Arcade Stadium 2. And they regularly go on sale for 99 cents. For those that don't want to shell out for a classic copy or track down the Capcom Fighting Collection physical edition, the games are well worth the $3 or so to download the whole series

Hokuto no Ken gotta be the meme pick but it should have being Hunter X Hunter Nen Impact ahahahahahah. At least will be one of the most interesting to watch for the hell of it.

I wonder if they will put MK in the freezer for some time. It has mainstream appeal but kinda became the Kameo fighter that don't really appeal for the more hardcore market. Nothing wrong with that but it always seemed like some cheap cashgrab for me. "Hey guys! Glop from Brofle Saga is in MK now! Isn't that cool?" or some thing like that
