What's your favorite movie decade?
*checks Terminator 2 release date*
90's it is. That movie is actual peak. The live action Mario movie was released in that decade too so that's even better.
After that, 80's. I love my high school drama movies.

I find modern cinematography usually very boring in comparison.

A weird movie adaptation that you enjoyed? For me it was Dora the Explorer.

Your most groundbreaking theater experience? For me was watching Avatar when I was 13. The visuals and 3D effect were extremely immersive to me.

I thought Detective Pikachu was really charming. It wasn't exactly good but I enjoyed it for the novelty.

Your most groundbreaking theater experience?
Probably 'The Two Towers' when I was 7 or 8. Changed my life.
Avatar was a great one too. First movie I saw in cinemas more than once.

My dad once took me to a showing of The Neverending Story in the public library, I really liked the special effects and the story.
OMG that reminds me!
My local library had a bunch of weekly showings of Studio Ghibli movies when I was like 11 or 12 maybe? It was the first time I saw those movies (except for Spirited Away which I had seen before) and it was a really fun little event to head into town and watch those movies with my brother and our best friend.

Another personal favorite of mine:

Another favorite Mega Drive/Genesis game that I forgot to mention is the classic Alien Soldier released in 1995.

What's your favorite Zelda games?
Majora's Mask is probably my overall favorite.
Favorite game that isn't retro... lets put 2020 and above??
I absolutely adored my playthrough of Astro Bot! That game just oozes charm and fun, and is overall just really polished and fun to play.
If there was one old tech trend you could bring back, what would you pick?
You actually posted what I would pick, so I'll post my second highest trend I want back, which is skeuomorphism style design. I hate that pretty much everything digital these days just looks so flat and samey instead of being vibrant, colorful and textured.
What franchises would you like to see being brought back from the dead the most, assuming it would be a proper revival?
I have been dying for a new Twisted Metal for so long man. That news that one of Sony's cancelled live service titles was going to be a Twisted Metal game killed me, because it made me realize that I'm so desperate for one that I still kinda want whatever it was they were going to give us. Hopefully whatever work was done on that gets repurposed for a more proper revival in the future.

If you could pick just one game to play for the rest of your life (mods and/or fan-made content included) what would it be?
Probably classic Star Wars Battlefront II. It's already probably my most played video game in general, I'm never going to be sad to play it more.

What's your favorite movie decade?
I don't think I could just pick one, but I can at least give you that I'm particularly fond of 50s, 60s, 80s, and 2000s films.

What are some of your favorite game spin-offs? What immediately comes to mind for me is probably Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.

Who are some of the coolest NPC's from the games you've played?

I think Rodin from Bayonetta is a badass

Another game I forgot to mention that is also one of my favorites from the Mega Drive/Genesis console is Sparkster! The sequel to Rocket Knight Adventures!

This one may be reaching a little, but if the modern 3D Ninja Gaiden games can be considered Dead or Alive spin-off's, then those easily.

Unless it will Change soon,as I anticipate to Play Zelda the Windwaker soon.But as for Right now its Zelda the Twilight Princess.

This is a great thread idea! :D

...there's a lot of questions to reply to! D:

What's your favorite Zelda games?
Zeldas 1 and 2, though I can see why Link To The Past is so beloved as I'm chipping away at it.

If you could make a RPG spin-off out of any non-RPG franchise, what would it be?
A Sonic one that doesn't suck balls This is a toughie! I'm gonna have to go with a Donkey Kong Country RPG, personally.

I'd love to see more setting lore, let alone have more chatter, similar to a Mario RPG. Maybe the return of the Kremlings somehow, or one that reluctantly helps the Kongs against a bigger threat? Animal buddies as summons or Paper Mario RPG companions would also be cool!

Favorite game that isn't retro... lets put 2020 and above??
Chasm. Easy. Dammit this one's from 2018. Uhhhhh... SKALD: Against The Black Priory. Almost about to beat it, too. Mortal Kombat One is also pretty neat.

Whats your favorite Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game?
Phantasy Star 4. Tricky. Wish I had more experience with Sega games on the whole, but I still wanna finish this one. I think I got 3/4s of the way through?

If there was one old tech trend you could bring back, what would you pick?
Stuff to plug in, especially into controllers. Memory cards and the Dreamcast's VMU, and the Rumble and Transfer Paks were cool. I have no idea what those accessories would even do, but I liked those.

If you could pick just one game to play for the rest of your life (mods and/or fan-made content included) what would it be?
I really don't think I can pick. I like way too many games to only ever play one, with or without mods included. If I really had to blurt something out with a gun pointed to my head or something, I'd probably say Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I've played that one to death, and really need to get on what few mods exist for it.

What's your favorite SNES platformer?
The original Donkey Kong Country. Super Mario World is a good second place.

What's your favorite movie decade?
Much as my rose-tinted glasses are set to 00s nostalgia, I've gotta give it up to the 90s.

There were a lot of cool movies in that decade. I mostly remember some popcorn flicks from the 00s and love them, but the comedies I used to love from that era aged like milk. 90s movies across the spectrum of genres aged like a fine wine, however. Mostly.

Your most groundbreaking theater experience?
Hard to say. I remember really, really loving when I saw The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe on Christmas one year, though? IDK, it wasn't anything groundbreaking, but I remembered it had a big impact on me.

What are some of your favorite game spin-offs?
Final Fantasy Tactics and its sequels, 'nuff said.

Pokemon Stadium and 2 were a lot of fun. I don't know if it'd be possible to capture that whole feeling in modern Pokemon, but being able to just throw together a roster of almost any Pokemon and battle -- let alone play fun minigames between battles -- just feels good. Battle Revolution sucked, from what I've heard.

I actually had fun with Castlevania Judgment! When I played it! All of once!

Who are some of the coolest NPC's from the games you've played?
Moira Brown from Fallout 3 is a very polarizing shopkeep / inventor / co-author of the Wasteland Survival Guide. You either love her or loathe her, but I'm definitely in the former crowd.

I certainly get why people love Solaire the Sunbro from Dark Souls. He's simple but fun.

~~~
My turn to ask a question! What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Can also include adjacent stuff like sherbet, sorbet, et cetera.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Phantasy Star IV, Phantasy Star II, Ristar, Pulseman, Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Vectorman, Vectorman 2, Rocket Knight Adventures, Contra: Hard Corps, Thunder Force IV, Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, The Revenge of Shinobi, ToeJam & Earl, ToeJam & Earl 2: Panic on Funkotron, Comix Zone, Kid Chameleon, Streets of Rage 2, Streets of Rage, Streets of Rage 3, Gynoug, Rent-A-Hero, Shining in the Darkness, Shining Force, Shining Force II, Beyond Oasis, Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole, Thunder Force II, Thunder Force III, Golden Axe, Golden Axe II, Flashback: The Quest for Identity, Granada, Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi, Truxton, Steel Empire, DEcap Attack, Phelios, Wings of Wor, Rolling Thunder 2, Rolling Thunder 3, Bonanza Bros., Flicky, OutRun.
go post-op n I'LL marry you (which is indeed the equivalent of a death threat ^_^ )
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story series. 😊
Which game had the most satisfying ending for you?
As odd as it might sound, Decap Attack (md) is the one for me! despite having played a lot of games with strong stories and acceptable endings!
