A man who created some great games. The Metal Gear Solid series is great, with the new game Death Standing 2 he has once again proven what he is capable of ! He is one of the few game makers who has my respect.

I'm just going to give this example: when Dragon Ball Sparking Zero was released, they gave it a 7 out of 10, which may be reasonable, but then they gave Concord, one of the biggest flops in video game history, also a 7 out of 10. And that's just the tiniest bit of the iceberg.

Upset? Yeah, they've been upsetting people for like 2 decades now. So when any of their articles come up in conversations people get automatically sceptical. And yeah, me included. But this issue is not exclusive to IGN, every major gaming website has the same clickbait mindset with a bunch of staff that has to prioritize pleasing investors over telling the truth.

IGN and other big jornalist sites shilled all the slop that flopped last year and before but when it came to games like Wukong and Stellar Blade, they were quite hostile towards those for bs reasons. Games that are not from the west and lack DEI but were very well liked games by gamers. People with pattern recognition can easily put two and two together.

Alright, I think that was my last IGN thread maybe I'll find something better. It will probably be difficult because somehow everyone is the same but who knows maybe there are still reasonable and serious news sites !

Yes, that's not a bad idea but I don't want to bother people here with to many questions but thanks buddy for your idea.

I don't care about ign, meaning that when I read reviews for a game I'm deciding on, I read articles from most of the sites coming up in the first two pages of google research (ign included), and then I watch gameplay videos/read comments on reddit and gamefaq to have a better idea :) It's just that I don't follow this kind of controversy around sites, I just care about games I may like (or not).

Said that, I'm not a real Metal Gear fan, but I've enjoyed "Peace Walker" on PSP and the collection on Vita (MGS2 and 3, these ones with a guide because I'm not good in stealth games, but having a Vita and finding a cheap copy at the Gamestop I wanted to try these legendary games)

A tad bit unpolished, but not enough to take away from the experience, if anything, it gives it even more charm. My favorite game of all time.
